Not every product that we purchase winds up for sale on our shelves — a company with as many stores and as many employees as we have requires a lot of goods for internal use as well. It's the role of the Procurement Team to strategically source and select these items and to effectively manage relationships with our suppliers.

DEPARTMENT ROLES:

The Procurement Team's responsibilities fall under two main categories: Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management and Procurement Operations. Team members source and purchase the goods needed to supply tools, resources and services to our stores, warehouses and offices, and manage approximately $1 million in revolving inventory.

As a member of the Procurement Team, you would provide innovative ideas and to challenge existing systems. You would also work in collaboration with Best Buy in the U.S. in order to leverage procurement efficiencies and cost-savings.
