Works Great

One floor house, mounted on chimney. Set towards Kitchener stations. Got CTV, City, Global, Church?, TVO, CTV2, OMNI1, OMNI2. Very pleased. added a powered antenna amplifier after splitter degraded the signal.

Best Antenna - You also need a good TV Tuner

This is the best antenna out there. It pick up the Buffalo channels from Toronto easily. The antenna is not the only component you need - your TV's tuner makes a huge difference. My Samsung TV got around 20 channels with this antenna and my Sony TV got more than 30 - all because of the better tuner. Best way to cut the cord is to connect a full computer to your TV. That way you can stream and play anything. A Hauppauge USB TV tuner is an excellent tuner - I got the same amount of channels as my Sony TV. You can then run Next PVR software to make your own recorder.

This is very disappointing we only get ONE channel. Our last antenna which was 1/4 of the price got us about 20 channels!

Clearview 4V

Easy to assemble, but could only bring in one station and it was not very clear. There are at least five towers that are inside this antennas range in my area but with it on the roof of my two storey house approx 30 feet up only got the one channel. Disappointing!!!

Your mileage my vary

TV Antennas are unlike other products, their performance is very dependant on the location of your home. I had bought this to replace my Winegard FLV6550a. I assembled it, placed it on the roof and found that it less channels, not more. It could not pick up the VHF channel which was 60 miles away amongst others. It was well made antenna, which easily assembled. Not sure if the design works as well as stated, it didn't in my case.

Works as advertised.

I live 55km north of the CN Tower (straight line), I have no issues receiving CBC (English and French), TVO, CityTV, OMNI2, and Global, all in HD, no pixelation, or sound issues. I have the antenna temporarily resting on the floor of my living room tucked between the couch and an exterior wall, pointed roughly south. It's actually pointing right through drywall and bricks. I can imagine the signal will only get better once I mount the antenna in the attic. I'm in a bit of a valley so I don't anticipate receiving channels from Buffalo, but who knows until I move it.

I was a little sceptical about this and worried about spending this amount on an antenna, but this product is well worth the price. For reference, I live just south of the Bloor subway line, west of Dufferin. I had been using a set of rabbit ears and only got 5 stations reliably, and sometimes six. I installed this antenna on the third floor balcony facing the CN Tower. I am amazed to find that I am receiving 33 channels, including the CBS, NBC, and ABC affiliates in Buffalo, plus Fox and PBS, as well as the usual Ontario stations, including the Hamilton station. It works better outside than in. I first tried it inside the house on the 3rd floor and got 20 channels. Placing it outside really helped with reception, even though there are several rooftops blocking my view south.

Excellent deep fringe reception

I bought the one identical to this but with only the 4 ellipse parts and not the straight part above. I don't see the other one for sale but I want to tell people that this quad ellipse system pulls in channels from 60+ km away easily. And that over rugged terrain. It's small and easy to handle and mount on any upright. Terrific product.

My first experience with OTA Antenna! Mounted it off my chimney and pointed it towards the CN Tower and now receive 26 US and Canadian channels in HD. I would highly recommend this antenna.
