Dr. Dre Studio Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphone - Matte Black

Upgraded from my wired to these. Just AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

  • from Ottawa, ON

Great headphones!

I bought these randomly because my other headphones broke, they're great I've had them for around a year now. Only issue I've had is short battery live at 12hours. I listen to music and stuff for much longer than I should , but still the battery isn't as good as it could be. They sound amazing great bass for sure. I would recommend the solo 3 wireless over these they sound the same, and have 4x the battery life at 40hours.. I have the solo 3 also I can go a few weeks without a charge. It's crazy

Paying For The Name

The sound is good but not outstanding. For better clarity and range as well as a better quality build go with Bose.

So much better than the in-the-ear ones!! These actually stay on my head (even during running) and sound great! Use them at the gym every day to drown out everyone else.

I am using these 10 hours a day at work in a noisy cabinet shop. They block out almost all the external noises of saws and dust collectors and the 12 hour battery life means i dont have to bring my charger to work. Aswell they sound great and the bluetooth range is really good. Definately recommend if you need something for work in a noisy environment. Love em.

Paying for name

If you are willing to pay for the B on the side you got your money worth' if you want features and best noise cancellation and sound quality the Bose Quitconfort 35 are mine blowing just look at the 1600 reviews compare to Beats

Cheaply made headphones

We bought 2 sets of studio headphones for our kids and all are coming apart from the covering of the foam ear pieces, to the poorly designed and flimsy hinge system and finally to the accessories such as the volume control on the wired version which just popped apart, exposing the electronics. All hype. Cheaply made and altogether disappointing given how expensive these headphones are. Profits before quality. Before putting your name on something one should have pride it is made well.

do these beats come with a case anyone know ???

  • from Toronto, ON

Okay HeadPhones

where to start , they are a decent pair of headphones , sound is good they are heavy on the base side but then again they are beats so that is the way they are suppose to sound . are they the best for the price ? nope they aren't you can do a lot better for the same price , but they are comfortable and look cool and everyone knows beats so yeah ... if you want a pair of headphones that is comfortable look cool and get loud these are for you . if u want a more balance sound experience i would look at sony 1000x are pretty amazing and defiantly beat the beats for an extra [price] bucks but they don't look as cool lol

  • from Montreal, QC

Love them!

They are comfortable and light. They are perfect for working out at the gym!

  • from Toronto, ON

Very comfortable / love my Beats

Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for quality headphones.

  • from Mississauga, ON

Excellent for good quality music

Sometimes being a critique , i tend to overanalyze ,specially when it comes to music , because i really like it Sharpe , theatre styled and a complete listening with rich experience. With in first 2 days of my purchase i was not very happy as had high expectations and then i started streaming some really high quality music and boy they come through an amazing pair. I would say when ever you get any sort of deal buy them . I love them to core now and have experience d so much amazing music my full 5 star everything just taking a star away , cause they don't sound good with poor streamed music ........but love them

After the inital glitch, Excellent headphones

As soon as I got them I had problems with the Bluetooth connectivity. But after I updated the firmware the headphones worked exceptionally well. They're very comfortable and have a great Sound.

Love these headphones best sound and comfort.. Sturdy and durable construction. This is my 2nd pair of Beats I also have the on ear which I love and have had for 2 years also but wanted over the ear for longer wear and comfort. Love both !! Definitely worth the cost .

Purchased for boxing day sale. Worked for a week then just completely died on me. Excellent comfort level (mainly why I purchased) decent bass, bluetooth was excellent while it lasted. A disgrace that they died so quickly. I hope my boy dre fixes this problem, they don't want him to win. Another one.

Don't Listen To The Haters

Honestly, don't listen to the haters. This is a great pair of headphones. They sound wonderful (just go look at reviews or I don't know LISTEN to one before you make judgements). They've really improved the sound signature from the older more bass heavy Beats. They're super comfortable. Look great, which sorry is meaningful considering you WEAR THEM and the Bluetooth connection to my iPhone 6s is perfect. No stutters or delays to talk of. And best of all if anything goes wrong, I'm going straight to the Apple Store, which is the BEST part about this headphone. You get Apple service if and most likely when they bust as pretty much any and all headphones are prone to do because of just how much we use them. So seriously, buy once, and move on. They're great headphones.

  • from Brampton, ON

I like it

I listen to alot o music and its pretty much what i expected

  • from Winnipeg, MB

Bluetooth, comfort a problem

After about an hour wearing them they felt like they were squeezing my brains out, very tight. Good sound though and very noise cancelling. The bluetooth has about a half second delay running through my mac, making them useless to use in my music studio wirelessly. Which is why I bought them.

  • from Cambridge, ON

Good but can be better

Even though I've only used this for few weeks I must say that I enjoy using it without a cord. My only concern is that it can easily disconnect from your phone while you're trying to change in between songs. It's very frustrating.

Beats Dr Dre

Pros : The bass effect is awesome, blutooth is effective and reliable, Matt finish is is excellent and hides beats logo nicely if you dont want to announce. Charges quickly so no worries Cons : A big disappointment on ergonomics does not feel solid as Sennheiser Momentums and have to adjust on ears frequently to avoid pain over ears

  • from Nanaimo, BC

Better than first generation Sennheiser Momentums

While, I haven't had these long I can confidently say these are a step above the First Generation Sennheiser Momentums which were nearly as expensive but included neither noise cancelling nor wireless capabilities. I had a strong opposition to beats for the common mistake that beats are just overpriced garbage. But when looking at reviews these are consistently rated as the TOP wireless bluetooth headphone

broke easily

I've had these for 2 months and they were the best head phones I've ever had. although they broke after 2 months. I went to best buy and the display was broken at the same spot. it's the part where you adjust it. when i tried to adjust it the side snapped and they are unusable

Most uncomfortable headphones I've owned so far

Don't waste your money on these headphones. - The biggest problem i have with these headphones are the pads. They are so soft. When you first put them on they will feel comfortable, but over time the pads on them will collapse and the inside plastic of the speaker will sit on your ears, digging into the little holes. Very uncomfortable and painful. I have to keep repositioning the headphones, but after a couple of minutes it's still the same. I can't get over how soft the pads are on them. So terrible. Can't use them without having them charged. Knew about it, but didn't expect it to be this annoying. - Noise cancelling feature is just white noise in the background. Sometimes ruins the songs or when gaming. Take my advice and look for something else. Or not, and experience them for yourself.

  • from Toronto, ON

These headphones are great. Im a university freshman and my dorm gets pretty noisy so the noise reduction comes in handy. Im no audiophile but the sound quality is great compared. It has a built in mic which is also good for my online classes

  • from Ancaster, ON

Great sound, comfort and design.

I own a variety of over ear heads phones (Original Beats Studios, Pioneer MH591's and B&W P3's) I've been using these for about a week now and I can say they are my favorite out of all the headphones I've used and listened to. I'm not a expert on audio quality but as an average consumer I must say I'm really satisfied. They're comfortable, sound great, the build quality is great and the overall feel and look of the headphones is awesome. Syncing them is very easy and the volume/track controls on the side of the headphones aren't visible which keep the headphone looking very sharp yet still very easy to navigate to your next track/adjust the volume. So far no complaints. I would say if you have the money and want a great pair of noise cancelling wireless headphones I highly recommend them. I've noticed people who say "cheap plastic, bad sound" These headphones do not feel cheap and the sound they produce is great. Compare them in store to a pair of Bose headphones and you will see for yourself ...Bose is the definition of cheap plastic feel and tinny sound

  • from Calgary, AB

Great sound, tons of features.

A lot of people give these a bad review but the bottom line is these headphones have every feature you would want in a pair of headphones: - Wireless - Built in Microphone - Not too bulky - Fold up for transportation - Comes with hard carry case - Hidden buttons - Looks great - Noise cancelling - Great sound - Hard wire option I would agree these may not be the best at one of these but I dare you to find a set of headphones that has all of these features.

  • from Cambridge, ON

Expensive ... cheap plastic

Build quality is terrible Battery life is moderate but if battery runs out ... its a dead plastic. Makes no sense to me Comfort is moderate. They are stylish but that's it. Sound quality isn't that good for the price. Noise cancelling feature has a low frequency humming sound ... very annoying.
