Best of thr last generation.

Really enjoying this borderlands pre-sequel. Characters and abilities better than borderlands 2. Can't wait for the DLC!! Last fun game to play before jumping into the next console generation.

If You Loved Borderlands 2, You'll like it.

The game is a lot of fun, it's essentially Borderlands 2 with a few changes and mods. It really should have been an expansion pack rather then a stand alone game, but either way I'm loving it.

Well developed but misses the mark

On the plus side, this game still has a great musical score, and the voice acting that they kept from the previous version is top notch. Any new voice acting I find rather bland. Because of how funny the previous version was, I am assuming they tried to do the same with the dialect in this edition. Based on that assumption, I didn't get the majority of the jokes in "Aussie" dialect. Most of the time I had no idea what they were saying unless it was in reference to moving the plot forward, which felt pretty banal. Interesting and fun skill trees for the new playable characters and the focus on stacking to increase damage is a welcomed dynamic. Still though, it seems like the game lacks the carnage and intensity from borderlands 2. Some cool added in game features that gives you free stuff and access to better weapons is second to none and doesn't seem to have any strings attached. I get the feeling that the game developers have a really good idea of how to treat their consumers, via their add on content as well as how to include social media as part of their business model.
