Great router for the price

I have been in high tech for close to 30 years. This router is actually very decent for the price. I would buy it again in a second. Simple setup even Great- Grandma could get this thing going out of the box. I have had several horrible Bell and Rogers supplied routers over the years and use 3rd party routers to extend coverage in the house. I bought this one to get coverage at the other end of the house. The range is so good my phone always picks this one when reconnecting in the house. I can even get 3 bars way out in the backyard.

Great product

This little router surprised me. I've been happy with the Dlink cameras and to my surprise, this router is enabled to be on the mydlink app, so it can be managed remotely through that tool (limiting management though). I really like it.

Great little router

To my surprise, this router can be managed remotely via the mydlink app, so now i have access to my cameras AND my router from anywhere! I am going to pick up another for our home in Toronto and manage my kids internet with it.

Works if in very small space

I purchased this router as an option for an elderly couple in a retirement home. The size of their room is probably the average size of a bachelor suite. I found that sometimes they couldn't get the internet to work if they were in the adjoining room but eventually it would pick up a signal. For the price of what you pay it's a fairly good purchase

Mega value

This was an amazing purchase for the money. I have only been using this router for a little over a week and can't complain. A good router lives a thankless existence, but you really learn to hate a lousy one. The set up was super easy and this router seems to have excellent range. It is set up in my basement and has good performance on the second floor. I use it for one computer, 3 TV's (running Netflix, etc), an iPad, an iPhone, a Nest thermostat and a baby monitor camera and has yet to drop a connection. It's short on features, but it has a WEP button to make configuring peripherials easy and 4 ethernet ports so it works wired or wireless. I chose this router not just because it was the cheapest router offered, but this model was rated the best router under [price] by a popular consumer review site that I trust, so I would have paid twice what it cost me. I'm hesitant to buy anything "refurbished", but this one looked pretty new and at least you know its been tested - new ones aren't always
