Not easy

If you do not have a CD drive or expertise with computers, do not buy. 3 hours of quizzes and downloads the printer was tossed out the window, it would have been shot numerous times if I lived in a rural area

do not buy - poor print quality

This ET-4550 replaced an older Workforce printer. After a month I'm very pleased with it. The double-sided printing, feed in scan and copy, work very well, and a flat- bed for the small stuff. After a few hundred pages, still no jams, or any problems. Connecting to wireless network was simple. This printer isn't all that much quieter but is faster than the old one. The reason for replacement was the ink expense mostly, I believe it will be a 2-year payback at most for me.

Expensive disappointment

This printer printed with washed out colours and has limited flexibility in print options. The printer often appears to be offline to the wireless network she sometimes will not print for the PC with a direct USB connection.

This product has a future

I've had this printer for a year. After 6 months, the document feeder mechanism disintegrated into a pile of little plastic gears. Got a replacement printer on warranty & it works okay so far. Admittedly, I'm avoiding the feeder now. LOVE the continuous ink supply - can get many many copies & the quality of the image is good. The wireless feature is very slow & sporadic - documents will start & stop & fail. It works fast and easy when hardwired into a network. Freedom from cartridges is awesome & seems more ecologically responsible.

hard to set up

after talking to a friend that works at best buy I finally got it to work and it's really good but it takes a while to get it to work %100

Don't buy

This printer has given us nothing but problems, we have had to get it replaced three times since we bought it 6 months ago. First the Automatic Document Feeder stopped working, it wouldn't pull documents through to fax or copy. The second time we got it replaced the thing that sent ink to the pages stopped working, the yellow would not print, when they replaced it they told me it had completely broken off. The third time I got it replaced, the Automatic Document Feeder broke AGAIN. Every replacement we have gotten squeaks horribly when printing in colour. I am not happy with this product, I feel that this printer would be good for you if you used it very little and didn't rely on it. Worst purchase.

This is the worst printer I've ever owned. I LOVED the idea of the EcoTank system, albeit a bit messy, it's a good idea. But I bought this for printing on sticker paper, and it just jams every time. I have tried 2 different types of sticker paper, the 2nd one was a lot thinner, and it still jammed. It only has 4 paper types to choose from, maybe it doesn't even support sticker paper or slightly thicker materials, but you'd think for a WorkForce, and one that costs (price) that it would be able to support more paper types.

ECO Printer, What a concept!

I have had this printer for about a month now and I love it. I use it for everyday print jobs and for important documents that need to be mailed out. This printer does it all. With the easy WIFI connection, which took the pressing of one button, I was sold. I have the 4500 series and it includes a FAX and that will come in handy if I need to send a document quickly and then mail the original. Overall, very satisfied Terry

No more cartridges

Its a little expensive initially, but the quality and reliability, and the low cost of ink per page is a game changer.

Infinite printing

I had been looking for a printer like this one for a long time. Though it may not be the superfast printer, for people like me who mostly print reports and long form articles, its exactly what I need. A device that I don't need to "take care of" all the time. The wifi features also works flawlessly, on any mobile or desktop device you might want. I've printed hundreds of color pages on it, and I'm still at 90% (plus I have a full recharge kit still in the box). I strongly recommend this product.

this printer is slow, very slow, scanning only works if its full page do not try to scan anything smaller, like receipts. and don't forget this printer is slow
