I want to scream!

Bought this computer last April 2017. It crashed today, not just a little crash, all my files are corrupt! If you can imagine nearly 20 years of genealogy files, income tax files, photos, everything. I want to scream! I don't think it can be repaired at all and probably not worth it anyway!

Even simple web based games run awful poor graphics is an understatement. This system is good for reading email watching some YouTube content checking face book but that's about it

USB 3.0

website specs says 4 USB 3.0 and 2 USB 2.0 BUT it's actually 2 USB 3.0 and 4 USB 2.0. It's one of the reason I bought this because of 4 USB 3.0. Misleading info and I should be reimbursed of the price adjustments.

so far, pretty good

Have had this computer for almost a full year now, and it has been pretty reliable. Only real problem was a period of several weeks when the wifi would disconnect several times a day for no apparent reason. Very annoying. Found a fix on the 'net (very simple wifi adapter reconfiguration) and it's been all good since then. Cooling fan is a wee bit noisy, and I don't find the speed of this computer anything to write home about, but I'm mostly doing word processing, burning the occasional CD/DVD and general surfing, so it's more than adequate to my needs. Small size is nice.

More than I expected!

I bought this in September 2017 on sale for one hundred and fifty less than the listed price. I can run audio programs like Cubase and plug-ins fairly consistenly on this desktop, but not excessively. It is smooth and I have encountered 0 issues with it. It does more than just back-up for my HP laptop. For one hundred and fifty less than the listed price, it is a steal. Great for every day home use and even recording a few tracks on a sound card and a Digital audio workstation. The keyboarrd is smooth and slim, and the power suply is extremely quiet. You wont regret if this is what you need it for.

Hard drive died after 8 months

Initially it was very easy to set up, good performance. I was pleased with the wireless internet feature. Then after 8 months it crashed when the hard drive stopped working. We contacted HP who sent us a new hard drive and windows recovery usb the NEXT day for free! It took 5 hours to install the new hard drive and reload windows. Next time I would spend more money on a higher quality PC.

The laptop that tries to be a desktop

Even though this is a desktop computer, it has more features similar to a laptop. Pros: Way faster than my old HP desktop. I can do multiple tasks and not have the computer lag. My old one if I was scanning the music would stop playing. It's nice and compact. It would allow ALL my old programs (some as old as 2007) work on Windows 10. Windows 10 updated now has the ability to turn Bluetooth on and off (out of the package it did not have that ability) Cons: Very weak built in Wi-Fi even being right next to the router. Had to hook up a USB Wi-Fi just to get the 5GHZ. A manual open/close DVD burner. Nightmare out of the box setup. Took over 10 hours and everything froze. Had to manually turn off and then let it boot and then update Windows 10. Now it's working fine. Says you are Administrator but limits what you can actually change. Would not let me change an .xsl file. Had to go to my old computer to do it. Windows 10 mail is absolutely pitiful. Cannot set incoming mail to go to individual folders or block spam. But still way better and faster than my 2011 HP, so for the price, it was a good deal. Make sure you back up the OS as per the instructions and realize this is not a gaming computer but an everyday computer and it's very decent. Hopefully it lasts a few years.

Nice Product

I bought one Last Wednesday, I'm very satisfied that it is for everyday use and is quite fast. Very compact desktop and lightweight. It is very portable and fits into almost any backpack. The keyboard is also compact. I've added 1 more stick of ram to make it 16GB and am completely satisfied with this unit.
