TV Stand

After 3 times, we have received our furniture in good condition. The 2 times before, a big scratch was at the same place on the top ( scratch was done at shop but they send it at same). We have called service and that wasn't so easy to call somebody but when we were able to speak with somenone ,they have done good service and answer. Despite many calls with shipping company to receive and return TV stand , our TV looks well in family room.

Great TV stand for the price! Looks more expensive and does the job. My son had no problem putting it together, took about 1 1/2 hours.

oak tv stand

I purchased this stand on Dec 26th for a boxing day sale; I too had issues with shipping; it took a long time to be delivered. It is hard to say if that was an issue with the shipping company or not but there were delivery notices of delays at Purolator at the time. So I can't put all the blame on Best Buy. One piece; the bottom of the inside was damaged upon delivery and unusable to build the stand. In the box it is the piece that is closest to the top. I contacted both Best Buy and Insignia about getting it replaced rather than trying to get the pieces back in the box which I had broken apart. To my dismay this wasn't an available option online. Luckily, I went in store and discussed the issue; and we were able to work something out there. Upon getting the new piece it was still not in perfect condition; though this time it could at least be used. Once all assembled the less than perfect condition of the piece is hidden away. Overall Quality of the stand is good Delivery Time could of been vastly improved Price was amazing during Boxing Day I wouldn't necessarily pay the full price for this product; not sure it is worth that, but if it was on sale I would consider it.

Great addition to my home

I really like this TV stand. The look and feel is very elegant. The oak finish adds elegance to my family room. There is lots of storage space. The only drawback is that there is not enough ventilation in the enclosed space so the inside gets hot very quickly. We have to leave the doors open until we add more holes to the back of it.

dont bother

i think the person who writes the product description needs to be told what solid wood is as opposed to PB (particle board) . main description says its solid wood,specs say PB.ihave not found any solid wood in it,its chipboard and mdf.ass for my grammerin this review i treated it with the same contempt as the customer service dept treated me when i bought this. BEWARE this is not exactly heavy,i lifted it on my own, it tooka special delivery from the shiping company to get it to me,had i known it was in a flat pack box i would collected it on my own in my car. but unfortunatley the tales of woe from shipping company that is a heavy item and will need a large truck and 2? yes 2 men to deliver it from the shipping company is mind boggleing, my wife could have done it with a trolly after all the wasted phonecall to cust serv dept at bb and trying to get shipping company to actually call me . when they finally deliverd it and i got home i literally laughed my head off for about 10mins at the size of the box,or should i say lack of size . As for the unit itself,,,,well,,,,,,,,,,its your typical bog standard chipboard with some sort of wood veneer colourd brown that is no diff fromany other flatpack furniture you buy made in china.from most retailers what a shame our next generations are growing up thinking that this is the norm for furniture, i will say it has substandard alloy fittings used to assemble it. on a positive note you can see through the glass doors. funny thing is idont evenexpect anyone to see this

oak tv stand

I would have loved to be able to review this product, I purchased it on Dec 27 2016 to go with a TV I also purchased, it was shipped on Dec 29, Its now Jan 13 , and I still have not received it. it appears from my tracking it was in my home town on Jan 6.. I had a mess to call shipping company because it was a heavy item and needed 2 delivery drivers which I did on Friday Jan 6. we arranged a delivery time and day which was tues Jan 10 after 2pm. came home on Monday Jan 9 to a notice they had tried to deliver the item and is now at their warehouse ready to be picked up and will be kept for 5 business days. How I do that on my own and put it in my car is beyond me, oh I know I will have to hire 2 guys with a truck to do that for me, hey here's a thought why don't I when I buy something online get it shipped to my home. another call to shipping company, they advise someone will call in the next 24rhs to arrange delivery. no call came another call to shipping on the wed, this time they informed me they will contact me to arrange a delivery date, this sounds familiar, so I ask how long b4 they contact me the reply was by the end of Friday, so now they have 48 hrs to contact me. still no call so on thurs I call best buy to see if they can help. They also contact shipping company while I am on the phone, they inform me shipping company will be calling me by fri . that's 2 people who have said I would be contacted by fri Its Friday, sigh we still have no contact from the shipping company. I call best buy customer service again, repeat the whole story this time I am informed they don't call shipping company on behalf of their customers, I will have to call them or use the livechat option on the shipping companys website. Now that's interesting now I have 2 company's telling me lies . So another last resort call to the shipping company before I cancel my order because in all honesty I have bought a product and it seems it wil never get delivered. so the 4th call to shipping company gets the same response as the earlier 2,then we get a supervisor ,he is going to try and contact the depot and will call us back. yay a result someone is going to call us . now where have I heard that before. its now late on fri no call back from shipping company. I see me on sat calling best buy to get a refund on something I never ever got in the first place
