Future Hardware

In an increasingly connected World, it makes sense to have a non-hardware intensive device. This lap top is light, quiet, and fast. The Chrome OS is new, and not yet opened up to many third-party developers. It's exciting to use a new type of Internet device that doesn't rely on the Windows model, and doesn't costs a fraction of what a Mac would. Browser based apps that I've used so far are reliable and zippy, as if on my smart phone, which is exactly what I was expecting. I dropped a star because the speakers in this are thin garbage - but for the price, pair it up with a bluetooth speaker and BAM! your all set.

2 stars for this reason...?

The previous reviewer posted 2 stars only for the reason of not liking the folding screen capability... weird... otherwise, is it a good Chromebook? better than others...?

Weird sreen feature

I am not quite sure as to why one would want this laptop that possesses the feature to fold flat, (as seen in picture 4). I have found no use for this position at all and have found it rather uncomfortable and annoying because while I am working on it, I'll gently tap the screen accidentally and it will fall on to its back. It is like a phone with a keyboard attached, not necessary.
