Bought this device in Feb 2016 (more than 1 and a half years from now) for the place with 12 users. Seems to work good. No complaints from users. Both networks (the 2 GHz one and the 5 GHz) are set up to have the same name to allow the system to automatically choose the right/faster band/network for every consumer. So far need to reboot the device approximately once in 3 months. Not sure though if it is the router which needs to be rebooted as every time when there are problems I ask a user requesting for a help to bounce both modem and router.

Short live

I bought two of these devices for my home and office over a year ago. Today, 15 months later, both of them keep dropping connection and randomly reset themselves!!! Contacting Linksys is long and so far; no result. Both of them dying at the same time telling me that the model has some problem so I would not recommending this.

Typical Linksys; overpriced junk. Please, don't waste your money. I'd buy a D-link with 802.11a before I ever waste money on a linksys again. I'm going back to the R8000 or R9000 from Netgear. Poor signal on both bands, no option to increase signal power. Constantly causing drops on the network. Streaming, don't even get me started. AC3200 - not likely. Struggle even with media across my net between "prioritized" devices.

Steaming pile of garbage

This router will very likely frustrate you to no end. It will randomly stop just freeze your connection for no apparent reason, then continue working. Coverage is painfully insufficient - good luck getting 5 GHz on a different floor. This is supposed to be a premium router - it just isn't. Look elsewhere.

Not much better then Rogers standard wifi modem

My husband purchased the router to replace the wifi function on our Rogers router. The set-up wasn't bad, took longer then it should in our opinion (we're both technical people) at around 2 hours. After giving it a few days we were still dropping the signal all the time. I moved the router 6 feet away from all other electronics and it improved the connectivity issue however it didn't fix the distance we were able to reach with the router. We have a small bungalo and it couldn't reach the bedroom/washroom (yes I went there) at about 20 - 25 feet away from where the router was situated. And getting reception in the basement at about 20 feet away was better on the Rogers then this. We updated firmware and tried again and same issues. After giving it over 3 weeks of tinkering I'm taking it back today and looking for a different model.

Problems and headaches

The week after the warranty ran out the problems started. The company has got the timer set just right on the expiration of their product. The real frustration is that I bought 4 of these pieces of x for multiple locations and the other ones are just coming up on their one year anniversary. Not looking forward to their one year birthday. Never again.

Bought this router in hopes of fixing WiFi dead zones. It didn't help at all. I even purchase Linksys range extender to go along with this and still the same crap. Don't waste your money

2nd update

After using this router for a week, when 3 users are using wifi, the speed is relatively slow. My tablet stuck sometimes in a day. Don't recomend this modem, it does not worth the money spent.

Buggy Linksys AC3200 router

I returned the AC3200 router as just two bands worked. Firmware update didn't help much.

Linksys Tri-Band Wireless AC3200

It drops internet connectivity every few hour. you have wireless connection with no internet. Every day you have to reboot the router to make connection. Don't pay your money for this junk.

Excellent Router

I have tried before Linksys 3000, TP Link and Asus. This is best of all. Very easy to install right out of the box. Will recommend.

Worth the investment

I had a Belkin N600 dual band router and it worked great for a while, but as time went by and more and more devices were using the router I found that the router was freezing and needed to be rebooted. It got to the point where we were rebooting the router once per day. That's when I started investigating a tri-band router.. Since I've purchased this, I've had no freezing of the router even when someone is streaming Netflix and someone else is online gaming with the PS4. Not to mention up to 5 other tablet/phones being used at the same time. A nice addition is the ability to turn off specific wifi connections at certain times of the night/day. This is good for the school kids who like to play with their friends online and lose track of time. I would definitely recommend this router for anyone who has multiple simultaneous connections.

Great but ....don't try it with a Chromecast

I really like this router but it is a total pain to connect to Chromecasts. Eventually I gave up..

working awesome

I spent [...]CAD last Christmas to get the router and it is working perfectly now. My home is around 3100 sqft. My old router was not able to cover my bathrooms my backyard and my basement. Now I can fully enjoy the convinence of wireless. this router covers every corner of my home and my backyard with perfect and strong signals. I tried to use to test the download and upload and PING. It is alllllll perfect. Thisis the only time that my wife did not ask me to return the electronic device! LOL definitely recommend

Ultimate Wireless Router

This is the best upgrade I have ever did on my home network. I have tried the other models like the AC1900 from Linksys but it just disappointed me. Anyhow this wifi router is so sick in features and connectivity. I love the convenience of being able to control my internet when I am not home via my smartphone. Although It is pricey however it is worth the money I spent I would say so. This device did not fail me as far as my experience so far. I always get consistent fast connection anywhere at my house. Before settling on this specific model I have tried several AC1900 & AC3200 models but none impress me compared to this. I have 12 wireless devices in which 8 connects via AC speed and they never loose a connection per my thorough observation. Not to mention my wireless N devices stays connected all the time. I would advice you to buy to get one while its on sale :-) Happy camper here.

Three band feature worth

Very easy setup. The three band feature solved my connectivity problem that ac1200, ac1750, ac1900 couln't solve. I am really satisfied with this producct.

Great Router

I bought the router to increase the range and speed of my WiFi, over the last few years we have brought many products into the home needing a internet connection. After upgrading my home internet to fiber optics and adding the AC3200 i have no issues with any device and its internet connection. I am running 2 smart TV's, 2 surround receivers, 3 iPhones, 2 iPads, 1 network drive (connected directly to the router AC3200), 1 blue ray player, 1 MacBook Pro, 1 Apple Time capsule, Epson network printer.
