Excellent mouse for Work

I was looking for a comfortable mouse for work so I wouldn't get hurt to my wrist hand or arm. This mouse works perfectly. Very confortable, very well designed, not toi big( i have small hands!) and various feature very useful for work like the 2 scrolls or the thumb button. Scrolling is amazingly fast because the rolling device just never stop scrolling up or down! It has 2 choices of scroll, so you can go super fast or go regular. There are 2 buttons for web navigation as well and it goes on any surface ! Rechargeable as well and battery last very long. Been a week since i got it and never charged it yet, still am at half the battery! So yes, it's an excellent choice! worth all my money!

Short 1 year warranty. Dies days after warranty expire.

For this price point don't buy this mouse. Bottom button (switch application button) dies after 2-3 month after purchase. Whole mouse dies few days after warranty expire. Keep in mind, logitech drop warranty from 3 years to 1 year only. The same warranty - 1 year for 2s model as well.

Excellent mouse

I was looking for a new mouse that would not only fit my hand, but allow me to maintain productivity. This mouse certainly does that. PROS - Large size and will fit larger hands - Excellent scroll wheel on both top and side - Gesture button is an awesome feature - Very comfortable - Bluetooth connectivity has been flawless thusfar CONS - Some other reviewers have noted that the back/forward buttons are a bit too far back and I would tend to agree. If they were a little further forward it would be much more pleasant to use, however do not consider this a deal breaker. Summary Overall Im incredibly happy with my purchase. The price is high but you really are getting what you pay for with this mouse. If you're thinking of getting a mouse for productivity and even some gaming, you can't go wrong with this mouse.

7 Bad Mice in a row...

Love this mouse, but plagued with issues with Windows 10. The custom buttons don't work 100% of the time as the software Logitech Options, keeps crashing in the background. Te Ratchet mode of the wheel (clicky mode) becomes smooth after a wheel (just google Mx Master wheel issues), and you will notice that about half of these mice have this problem. Finally, the latest mouse I got, had the wheel working fine, but got a defective side button that does not work...

  • from North Vancouver, BC

issues with wheel lock

so i had problem with the clicking-scroll wheel losing the clicking feel over time, and no its not because i changed the setting to free spin. after i used it for a day, the "click" on the scroll wheel start to lose that friction and became as smooth as the free spin setting. i've returned and exchange for about 4 units and its all the same :S is it just me at that best buy location? everyone seems to give banging five star reviews...

Incompatible with older bluetooth laptops!

Have two older Mac Laptops - none able to connect using Bluetooth. (I've purchased the mouse to be able to connect using bluetooth not wireless receiver)

Very few improvements compared to older performance mouse

I used the Logitech performance mouse MX for 3 years and found it very reliable. i decided to buy the newer version of this mouse and i find the new one with similar features. The click sounds are a bit louder compared to the older MX mouse. Scroll features are the same. A bid advantage with the new mouse is that for a single charge i am able to use it for more than a week, for upto 7 hours of daily use. That is a big change for good. Rest of the features are similar to the older version. Logitech has to work on click sound for this new one though.

Great mouse

Love every aspect of it, feels outstanding in palm. Big finger rests during the work. Very good battery performance, charged it first day and still use it after couple weeks on the same charge. Only one bar of the "juice" disappear.

Extremely Comfortable

I work on a computer all day so I anted a quality mouse that was comfortable and accurate. The MX Master meets all my criteria. The quick scroll and side scroll wheel is great for excel spreadsheets and photoshop. I use this mouse for gaming and digital art for personal use and it is pretty good at both of these aswell. Pros: Accurate, Comfortable, Quality Feel, Quick battery Charge Cons: A little pricey, Short batterylife

  • from Ajax, ON

Very uncomfortable.

I have two full-size Logitech gaming mouses that feel great. This feels like I need to stretch to use it. Also something scratches my finger when I scroll. Other reviews have found this issue as well. It is wonderfully zippy, but unless you have massive hands I would steer clear.

Not bad for the money

Bought this mouse because of the reviews and it's the most expensive bluetooth mouse on the market. Looks great, feels great, and the extra buttons are very useful. However, The bluetooth connectivity sometimes goes crazy and disconnect and reconnects itself. Also, sometimes scroll gets stuck in one mode and won't switch over. Otherwise, overall this mouse is not bad

Amazing mouse.

Excellent MX new mouse!!

I've been using Logitech MX mice for years (the Revolution, then the Performance). This mouse really works well with Windows 10 (the thumb push button brings up all active windows). Overall, the size is excellent! If you're looking for a smaller mouse, this is not the mouse you're looking for. It really fits in one's hand, incredibly ergonomically. Yes, the "forward" and "back" buttons are quite small, but after using the mouse for a few days, you get used to the size change from predecessors very quickly. As a writer, I'm on my computer all day, and having an excellent mouse is worth spending the money on, and this mouse really fits the bill. Well done Logitech

Fantastic feeling mouse but lacking

Sensor just isn't sensitive enough for my tastes, it also lacks the ability to go up to a dpi I am more comfortable with. The scroll wheel is fantastic, but the back and forward thumb buttons are poorly placed and i press the wrong button a lot. Hope for the next one they separate the buttons more. Also had issues with the dongle and the mouse freaking out. Used the extender that game with my g602 for it to move the dongle closer and this issue was resolved.

  • from Toronto, ON

Very nice

Great mouse got it on sale the button placement are great for a person with smaller hand like myself, back and forward are amazing I believe i can never go back. Its great for everyday use and is great for gaming as well too. Overall best mouse i use only problem is it loses bluetooth connectivty.

Awesome Mouse

One of the best mouse in the market, if you are looking for the top of the line mouse, buy this one. Ergonomically great I use it with visual studio and customization and scrolls are great

  • from Parksville, BC

Very nice mouse

I have to say this is the best mouse I have ever had. Feels great in the hand. Response of the wheel and side wheels is amazing.

Great replacement for MX Revolution

Just got this to replace my aging Revolution. Feels "zippier" and more accurate. Logitech Options software is a snap to use. Best scrollwheel in business. Only negative (besides too high a price) is the poorly placed (for me, at least) forward and backward side buttons. As a simple fix, I mapped the forward button (which I rarely use anyway) to be an additional back button.

Best Mouse Ever!

I got it a while back and it is the best mouse ever! After using it for a week, I can say it has great battery life. I still have't charged it once since I bought it, and i'm a gamer so I use it quite alot, 5-8 hours a day. It seems like the battery is not even dying lol. Best mouse I have ever used, I just wish the gold tint was a little bit more visible (tad bit more bright). The price should be 100 IMO but still a 5 star buy.

  • from Toronto, ON

Perfect mouse!

Use this mouse on Mac mostly working with Lightroom and Photoshop. I think this mouse is one of the best on the market.

  • from Hamilton, ON

Excellent mouse

I am so skeptical about mice, keyboards etc. and I have tried almost all in the market (I am talking about the expensive mice out there). If you have the money, this is the best mouse out there. I will wait when this mouse will be on sale and buy another one. People complained about battery issue which is bull; this mouse has no flaws compared to any other in the category. As a matter of fact there are others much more expensive and less useful as this is. So yes, good performance (all that dpi crap people are talking about, there is no need; this will help you in any task you need), great quality built and amazing design. I can say good job Logitech along with the k830 or k810 keyboard, this will look and work amazing

Best mouse ever

I spent all day on my computer for work and the mouse is very important. This is the best mouse I have had. I love that I can switch between my laptop (which is on my desk) and my desktop computer and use the same mouse

A Great Successor to the MX Revolution

I've been a happy user of the MX Revolution for some time now on my home PC and was looking for a replacement for my generic, squeaky corded mouse at work. Since the Revolution was still a good contender, albeit with a slowly degrading battery, I took it to replace the work mouse and treated myself to a new mouse at home. The master was my choice and I'm very happy with it. It still feels great in the hand and its ability to support both Logitech's unified remote dongle and bluetooth meant I could use it on my desktop, my laptop, and even my tablet by using the switchable ids. Battery life is good so far, although since I'm not a PC gamer I don't use it quite as vigorously as others might. Ergonomically, it still feels as good as the Revolution and the weight is just enough to feel substantial without making it cumbersome. The only con I can think of is that the battery is not easily replaceable as it was in the Revolution, however that hopefully won't be a problem if it lasts as long as the mouse.

Still the best

I've been using Logitech MX for 15 years and this latest version is the best yet!

  • from Belleville, ON

Best one yet

Order came 2 days before it was supposed to arrive on shelves. Pairing was easy with all three computers one with Logitech dingle other two with bluetooth. I now have one mouse for all my desk top needs. Love it!

  • from Duncan, BC

Love it BUT

The battery in this unit sucks, when i need it the most, it stops working and i have no way of knowing when it is going to tank until it does. I may do another Mouse smash if it annoys me again. The USB is connected to charge so often it is a wired mouse. I did not want a wired mouse, the Dark Field is awesome no skips, accurate quick response times and a thing of beauty to look at and handle.. for a wired mouse.

  • from BC

Great Mouse, but

Used an MX Revolution Bluetooth for years. Still works well. The MX Master is smoother and performs in all ways better, except that it does not always makes its Bluetooth connection after the laptop awakes from sleep mode, which also happens with the Revolution. I recently replaced an excellent Logitech K810 Bluetooth keyboard with a USB connected one because it had these problems to an even greater degree. I have come to accept that this is an inherent problem with Bluetooth devices connected to PCs. But a wireless mouse is just a lot easier to use that a wired one. And the MX may be the best one made so far.

  • from Oakville, ON

Great, but pricey

If you're willing to pay the price, go for it. But there are less expensive mice that you'll be just as happy with.

  • from Niagara, ON

Returned It

I had high hopes for this mouse on my Macs. Don't know if it was the Logitech Options software or the mouse, but I kept on losing BlueTooth connectivity. tried different channels, etc as suggested on their website. My other BlueTooth mice rarely disconnect. Using the right hand button for Gestures was really awkward. I did try for 2 weeks before taking it back. Nice looking mouse and it did feel good in the hand. These issues combined with the high cost made it a no-go for me.

  • from Toronto, ON

Amazing mouse

I love Logitech ergonomic mice and this one is the best I've ever own. It looks SO GOOD too I absolutely love it on my desk.

  • from Langley, BC

awesome mouse/ but pricey

if your willing to pay [...] for it you will love this mouse

  • from Vancouver, BC

Love this mouse

I used this mouse primarily for gaming (Counter Strike) and loooove it.

  • from Nova Scotia

This is the nicest mouse I have ever used. A well built and comfortable mouse has always been important to me and I will spend the money needed . This mouse is worth the asking price for sure. It is going to take a while to figure out what I want to do with each button because there are so many options. I am sure that it will last long like all Logitech mice.
