my title says it all
This mouse is fine but if you look at the screen you may notice the mouse reaction is definatly not great. It seemed to be fine on my laptop sitting on my couch but once I put my laptop on a table and used it, the screen would start moving a little bit after moving the mouse and then when the mouse stopped the screen didn't for ~0.5 secs
Am happy with the product as of yet. no complaints
amazing battery life! Going on 2+ years batteries are still good, wow! Middle button just started acting up but after hard press seems ok now, hopefully lasts or else buying exact same mouse.
this mouse was exactly what i was looking for and has not disappointed me.
horrible at tracking, I may need a mouse pad, but the mouse lags a lot and doesn't move smoothly
I have owned a Logitech Mx510 for over 10 years and still works great.
My other PC came with an HP mouse (and bugged me it didn't have those back/fwd buttons at my thumb)
After 3 years that mouse started failing and was a good excuse to replace it.
But first I tried some other used optical mice and was surprised how not all worked well with my black wood desktop surface.
I purchased a Microsoft mouse with Bluetrack tech for use with all surfaces and found that to not track well either. On top of that the wheel and buttons were not good.
I saw this was on sale and grabbed it and found it had no issues with tracking.
the buttons all had a nice click to them!
Not that I am going to travel with it but thought it was nice that there is a spot in the battery compartment for store the wireless dongle.
I've used this mouse for over 3 months now and two things stand out...amazing battery life so far. (Though I only use my PC about once a week.) The mouse has a sleep feature so its not draining itself over time. Second, as the first wireless mouse I've had, I'm really enjoying the portability factor, too. It connects seamlessly to my Macbook as well as the desktop PC.
There are more buttons on this thing than I use at the moment...maybe one day, though...
Mouse is great but the scroll wheel died in the first week.
I've had this mouse for about 5 years and only had to change the batteries once which was last year. I like the option of being able to assign functions to the buttons. It's a no-hassle mouse, just plug and use. It is very comfortable to use.
The only issue with it is that I also have a Logitech wireless speaker and it says that it should both, the mouse and speaker, work with the one USB Unifying Receiver. I tried using the one that came with the mouse and the one that came with the speaker and was never able to have them work with the same Unifying Receiver. If anything, I would say that this is the only negative comment I can say about the mouse or the speaker for that matter.
As for the value, I find it reasonably priced but I purchased it while on sale.
Overall, this will probably be the last wireless mouse you will buy in a long time.
As the IT buyer for a company of 100 people, I have bought, well, at least 100 of these. I've only had 1 failure during the last six years! The only problem to note is the Unifying receiver can get broken if you transport your laptop a lot. I've had about 5 now with the black cap broken off, and to buy a replacement is almost the same price as this mouse on sale.
Previously owned similar versions made by brand name competitor. I decided to try this one and while the performance is good it is rather awkward to hold. I have average sized hands (size L in gloves) and it is awkward to use the side buttons without shifting your grip everytime use use them. If you have very large hands maybe this will be a good choice for you but otherwise the mouse is cumbersomely too large for a normal grip.
I've had 2 of these for over 2 years now (home and cottage) and I love them. Fits well in your hand, decent range if I want to bring it over to the coffee table in front of the TV, reception has never dropped out on me, batteries last a long time. Will pick up another of these once one dies, though I don't anticipate that being any time soon. Decent regular price and a steal of a deal when on sale.
This mouse has unreal battery life. I have own it for two years and only needed to replace the battery once!
I bought this about 4 months ago. After I installed Windows 10, the mouse has ben working for 3 days and suddenly stopped working. I was searching all the solutions but no luck. I have to go back with my old HP mouse.
its a good mouse works well
This is a basic wireless mouse. Plug & play setup without any problem on a Mac.
I have two of these now. Bought this second one for a win8.1 laptop. Much better than a trackpad and makes working with the OS simple. No installing just plug in the dongle and it's ready.
I've had no problems with this mouse. Its really easy to set up, just plug in the nano and turn on the mouse. If you want to change the button functions, like I did, you have to install the software on logitech's site (also easy).
Performance wise - it's good. I don't see much difference between the laser and an optical mouse. I'm not a gamer, so an cheaper optical mouse probably would have been better, but I'm a photonics geek and I wanted to check out the laser...
Upon the first hour of using this mouse, it was quite glitchy and unresponsive. After turning it on and off, moving it around it started to work.
Just wanted an simple standard every day use mouse. Found it to be a good strong solid choice. I liked the size and weight, it feels right to me. Got it on sale and was good value for the price I paid.
I've been buying this mouse for myself and our employees for the last four years or so. I'm very happy with it's performance, features and fit within my hand, and the price means I can buy this without the accountant having a fit. In all this time, only one mouse had the forward button fail after years of use. No others have failed at this point.
A good quality mouse, but for gaming having the laser sensor on the side rather than the middle made my accuracy decrease when making quick actions. It's hard to use since it's nearly impossible to move the mouse perfectly left to right. The material is nice, but it is not recommended for any semi-serious gamer.
Like the mouse good value for the money.
Great mouse, love how it fits in the palm of my hand and also the back and forth buttons on the side of the mouse.
I am very pleased with this mouse. It feels very good in your hand and works great. I did buy it on sale, so it was a great buy for the price.
I like the fact that you can turn it off and save the battery. I would buy it again.
M510 is as good as my previous Logitech V550. But the side buttons' setting in MS office doesn't work.
Overall, it is a good mouse.
Great mouse, great to have on/off switch to save batteries. build quality is not that great but for the money it is great.
This product is wonderful! Really Happy with it. I live the fact that it has an off/on button for the mouse.
Great mouse. Work well on any surface. I bought it due to my carpal tunnel problem and the ergonomic feature works well for me. I even bought 2, one for home and one for work.
Excellent performance - happy with how this mouse delivers. Got on sale - great value!
ordered mouse on line and came in the mail less than a week later and worked great right from the start. Bought it to replace a wireless mouse that had stopped working.
The mouse is great, just as it was advertised.
Great mouse, I have one for work and one at home, batteries last a year, ergonomics are good, it's not as tiny as others which are too small for my hands.
For this price is nice mouse. I like it!
Same shape as Logitech LX8, which was what I had before. Decent mouse, at times not too responsive for gaming.
My Razer mouse had double click issues and I replaced it with this mouse. So far so good, I am satisfied with the purchase. I am not a heavy gamer but this mouse is good for general purpose use. Though you will need to use a good mouse pad with it.
Nice mouse, I think I need a new mouse pad now though for it. Sure is no anywhere mouse.
I've already been through one of these. I get a little click happy, and open a lot of tabs with the wheel, so that wore out on me.
Had to run out and buy another ASAP. It's not perfect for gaming, but for the average PC user it's the cat's meow. Comfortable, quiet, fast, and suits my needs perfectly.
This product works great! Everything you need in a mouse and more! The wireless receiver can be stored inside the mouse as well if you want to, but it's so small that you can just leave it in your laptop when travelling. The 4way tilt wheel is awesome, the side buttons work great, and the side is made of rubber so it's really comfortable. Ergonomically, it's not the greatest but it's still pretty good. The only problem that some people might find is that the clicking noise is a little louder than average in my opinion. It doesn't bother me since there's no one in my room that it could bother, but it's definitely something to consider, especially if you'e going to use this mouse at night while someone is sleeping or something. Overall, it's an excellent mouse. Definitely worth it!
I already have used one for several years. I use it for some pretty hectic gaming and find it to be an excellent product.
Would I buy another one?? I sure would.
This mouse is not very good ergonomically, but it performs well as far as speed and connection goes. Buttons are functional and work good. Receiver is small and out of the way, however the main problem with this mouse is it keeps waking my laptop up from sleep mode without even being touched, so I have to constantly turn the mouse off when I am not using the laptop anymore.
