1st Baby Sampler Item

I was all excited to try this baby carrier as I received it from the Baby Sampler Club as I did a bit of research online regarding this item and the reviews all looked positive. Once it arrived, I opened the box and carefully red the instructions and my husband needed to view a video on "YouTube" to figure out how to put it together to try the different positions. The front face in and the front face out are usually the two main positions used. Neither of my 8mths old daughter enjoyed in this baby carrier. The material used for this item is high quality and feels nice when wearing, however my daughter didn't like to have her legs that wide around my waist. Also, its not a baby carrier that you can put on by yourself. Overall, I would say that eventhought its top quality, it's a shame that it's so tricky to put on. Our "Baby Bjorn" is way easier to install on yourself, eventhough its not very ergonomically.

High end carrier. Very comfortable.

I have used it for two weeks so far and I found it very comfortable for me and my 3 months old baby girl. I love that Mountain Buggy included the infant insert for free (unlike other carriers you have to purchase it separately). Also the carrier fitted nicely for me and my husband with minimal and easy adjustments. It allows us to switch and take turn carrying our baby easily. We both felt less strain on our back and hip compared to other carrier we had. Highly recommended for all my mommy and daddy friends.

Great for new moms!

Received this carrier from the Baby Samplers Club. It is really well designed and I love the pockets. My 2 week old is very secure in the infant insert which is great that it is included. I was able to put away laundry and go for a walk no problem with her in it as she fell fast asleep. The straps are very comfortable and everything fully adjusts to suit any body type. I had a C Section and it is fine above my scar as well as I have a bad back and felt the carrier really distributes the weight evenly. I would def recommend as it will grow with your child for years to come!

Great quality carrier, very comfortable to use

About me: I have been using a Boba 4G carrier since my son was about a month old. He's currently 8 months old and weighs a bit over 20lbs. He's a very squirmy and active baby, but he loves being in a carrier. I have a bad back and neck issues so having a good supportive carrier is a must. Likes: 1. The fabric - A very soft fabric that is Oeko-tex certified. It does not smell whatsoever when you take it out of the box. All the straps are made of sewn canvas cloth instead of the nylon straps found in the Boba. I had no issues with adjusting the straps when I had the carrier on. 2. The padding - Very nicely padded on the shoulder straps, the waist belt and in the area that the baby is carried in. 3. The pockets - Two retractable pockets on the waist and a large pocket on the body of the carrier. The large pocket is padded so that you don't have to worry about its contents poking into your baby's back. 4. The "hands through connection pouch" - A really great feature when you front carry your baby. I naturally want to place my hands on my son's back when I front carry and take my son for a walk. The connection pouch gives me a comfy place to put my hands and helps keep them warm. 5. Magnetic chest clip - You simply bring the two ends together to have it attach, and slide the ends out to detach. The clip is still very secure when attached. This helps if you are front carrying and you have limited range of motion in your shoulders and you find it difficult to reach behind your back. 6. Carry positions - this carrier has 4 carry positions: front in, front out, back, and hip carry. I mostly used this front in. I do not carry my son face out because I have concerns of future hip issues. Even though this carrier boasts it's medically approved carrying modes, the front out position does not have the baby's legs in the preferred M position. Back carry was comfortable, but I have never been able to do a back carry without someone's assistance as my son is way too squirmy. I tried the hip carry a few times, but was not able to do so for very long as the weight imbalance of a squirmy 20lb baby would strain my back after a while. Dislikes: 1. My son did not like it - I think that this was due to him being used to the Boba carrier. The Juno secured him much better than the Boba did, but being a squirmy baby he was not used to all the extra padding and fabric and would tend to fuss when he was inside for a long time. I also noticed he would get warm when I used the carrier at home. I've been using this carrier in the winter, but I worry that it may be too warm for him in the summer months. 2. Very stiff waist belt clip - It takes two firm hands for me to unclip. This makes it difficult for me to discretely take my sleeping baby out of the carrier. The waist belt clip even has an extra elastic that holds it together for security - it seems that Mountain Buggy was concerned about the waist belt clip failing, but I think they might have overdid it. 3. The instruction manual - The instructions have no words, just diagrams. I was able to figure most of it out as I had used the Boba before, but some of the diagrams were confusing. I did find out later that there are videos on Youtube, but it would have been nice if the manual were better. Overall, I would still recommend the Juno carrier. There is a noticeable difference in comfort when using the Juno versus the Boba. I'm hoping that my son will change his mind about being in the Juno as he gets older as my back and neck don't feel as sore after using it.

Baby Sampler

I Received the Mountain Buggy Juno baby Carrier through the Baby Sampler club. Overall I really enjoyed it, my 7 month old seemed to be comfortable and it was very easy to put him in the carrier and do up all the straps without any assistance. My only complaint is where the pockets on the waist band were located I had a hard time even keeping my keys or phone in there let alone and extra diaper. I would definitely purchase one in the future :) as well as try some of Mountain Buggy's other products.

Excellent Baby Carrier

We tried this baby carrier with our 15 month old as we needed a second one for our new baby on the way. Right away it seemed a lot sturdier than our other carrier. It is an excellent high quality carrier that we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family. The good: - It is extremely well made. At no point did we feel worried that a buckle would pop out and send my child falling to the ground. It looks as though it should last a long time although at the time of this review we've only had it a couple weeks. - It is relatively easy to put on with the baby and adjust so it is comfortable. Especially when she is on my back the strap across my chest slids up and down easily. - Our baby found it extremley comfortable and didn't complain at all. She actually quite enjoyed being carried in it. - The panel is quite long so she couldn't pop her arms out and she felt very secure in there. - It comes with the infant insert which is so convenient. We can't wait to try it out when our second little one arrives. - The hood tucks away nicely if you don't want to use it. The Bad - Really the only bad thing is the tough to follow instructions on how to change from front to back carry. We did eventually figure it out but the instructions didn't help with that, we had to rely on our experience with other carriers. We would appreciate written instructions to go along with the pictures.
