More Information

Awesome imagery
  • Take a 24.3-megapixel FX-format CMOS full frame image sensor, connect it with the EXPEED 4 image processing engine, and what do you get? Pure awesomeness. More specifically, you'll enjoy fast frame rates, low noise, and a wide ISO range between ISO 100 and ISO 12,800 (expandable up to ISO 51,200).
  • It's your son's first-ever ride in a go-kart at the carnival, and as he and his dad go whizzing around the track you use the D750's 51-point AF system with 15 cross-type sensors to capture clear shots of his ear-to-ear grin.
  • The 6.5fps rapid-fire shooting at full resolution ensures you get the perfect photo of your little guy flinging his arms up in the air as they go racing by.
  • 3D Colour Matrix Metering III with a 91,000-pixel RG sensor provides excellent colour reproduction and light metering.
Videos you can't wait to share
  • Record footage of your boy's fun day at the carnival in Full HD 1080 at 60, 50, 30, 25, or 24p and create cinematic masterpieces that'll look amazing on your big-screen TV.
  • What does a zebra and the D750 have in common? Striping! Zebra striping in Highlight Display feature makes it simple to confirm exposure and get the look you want.
  • Turn your family video into a professional-grade movie with the ability to manually control ISO, shutter speed, and aperture while recording. You can also use Power Aperture control for smooth iris transitions and Auto ISO for smooth exposure transitions.
Easy sharing through WiFi
  • The built-in WiFi makes it a snap to transfer photos and videos to your smartphone or tablet. Upload your special moments to social media and watch the likes and compliments come flooding in.
  • With the D750's wireless technology you can use your smartphone or tablet as a remote monitor and control. When it's time to leave the carnival you can capture the entire family in the perfect group shot.
Get the right viewing angle
  • The carnival's pretty crowded, so instead of elbowing people aside to take a shot of your kid on a mini roller coaster you employ the D750's tilting Vari-angle LCD display. By twisting the 3.2" 1,229K screen you can raise it up high and shoot over the heads of the people in front of you.
  • The LCD screen also allows you to change certain settings while shooting so you can adjust settings on the fly without having to dive deep into the settings menu.
Compatibility
  • The D750 is compatible with FX and DX NIKKOR lenses and the Nikon Creative Lighting System of i-TTL Speedlights.

I would really want to purchase this body brand new, but I can't as it's sold out online and any nearby stores. I hope Bestbuy replenishes this product soon.

Best DSLR under $3,000

I've owned Nikon D5200, D5300, D5500, D610, D7200, D810, and now D750. This one is the best in the price catergory under 3 grand. If you want to spend more, get the D810. I'm using my Nikon D750 with a Sigma 24-105 f/4 and the results are spectacular!

For the price, the best camera around for low light and portraiture

Nikon is famous for there warm toned portraits, I've always been a nikon user and was looking to upgrade from my dx format d3200. The jump to the d750 exceeded my expectations. Not only is it fast as heck running thru the settings is made easy with there layout. I also love that you can pick a white balance setting then warm it or cool it based on your intentions. :) If your looking to make the jump to fx, and your currently looking for an fx dslr or mirrorless camera. Like I was. I'd go with the d750 for a few reasons. One, it has a very broad spectrum of lens selections new and old, two, it has a great reliable auto focus, and manual focus is great with practice without having to use focus peeking like on sony bodies, and three, the build of this camera almost seems bomb proof besides the flip out screen, which I only use for video. Hope this helps you make your purchase of a new fx camera! I struggled between dslr and mirrorless for a while... but for the price this system is way better. :) good luck

Expected more for price on a great brand name

Disappointed with the earlier recall issue due to flare. Extra time should have been taken before releasing to show quality being a priority rather than trying to expedite sales in the short term (hurts longer term reputation of a great brand). For the price was expecting a 100% viewfinder capture and max shutter at 1/8000 instead of a 1/4000. Had heard that the AF was disappointedly lagging in live view mode but had not experienced that.

Nice Camera

Had the D90 then the d7100 both cameras were good but nothing compared to this.Shooting indoor sports or anything indoors up to 6400 iso with no noise .I even shoot at 12800 and that compares to iso 1200 on my d7100. Now I know why people change to full frame its just that good !!! If you shoot mostly outdoors at iso 1000 and lower then don't bother to upgrade. The flare issue that was reported last year has been fixed since January 2015.

another stillborn nikon product

title says it all. released two months ago. already recalled to correct the flare problems. does nikon know how to test it's products before releasing them to the public? obviously not. they must have learned from microsoft. "...sell it first, customer will find the problems and let us know, and if there are more than a million complaints, we will solve the problem and brand it with a different number, jack up the price and voile all is well and we make more money. in the interim those who bought the original product... well... screw them!!!" save three grand and buy sony alpha7r instead.
