The second season of ONCE UPON A TIME begins as the citizens of Storybrooke, now equipped with the memories of their fairytale pasts, adjust to life following the breaking of Regina's curse. Regina continues to struggle with her own moral code and her relationship with Henry, both of which are tested with the arrival of her duplicitous mother, Cora. Snow and Charming worry that they are destined to be apart, while Emma finds a formidable enemy in Captain Hook, who is intent on revenge against Rumplestiltskin. Elsewhere, Rumplestiltskin has his own problems to contend with, including his relationship with Belle, and his desperate desire to find his long, lost son, Baelfire.

I have so enjoyed Once Upon A Time Season Two. I fell in love with the brilliant writing and the fabulous creations of set design, costume design, and the use of modern day decor and designer clothing in Season One. The layers of colour and the development of relationships and back stories for the characters that have developed in Season Two have made this my most favourite show on TV EVER! I was always a big fan of The Wonderful World of Disney which introduced me to the fantasmagorical world of make-believe as a very young child and I've believed in magic and miracles all my life because of it. This series is sheer genius in the way that it has taken our everyday fairy tale characters and brought them to life like no one else ever has. The extra bonus materials included are great and I enjoy listening to the commentary by the actors and writers themselves as they discuss how they feel the character is experiencing the scene as it plays out. Really superb writing and by far the best show on TV for young and old. Every episode shows a slice of life where everyone can glean wisdom from. I'm almost 60 years old and I'm hooked! Looking forward to picking up Season Three when it gets released!

Once Upon A Time: Season 2

I've enjoyed these series as they place the perspectives of the character into the story, rather than that of stories/fairy tales originally told by the story teller. Therefore, like all stories recaptured, the tale as it unfolds brings about different messages. The female characters in these performances are much stronger and more modern than the tales of old. The underlying themes of good versus bad become more realistic regarding the struggle that all individuals face when attempting to make the correct decision for themselves which determines their path in life. This series offers adults and teens an interesting fantasy to loose their imaginations too. I would not recommend this series for younger minds.
