Season one was better

Season two starts where season one ended off. They are in France to stop the bonnie prince from coming back to Scotland and gaining support from Jacobite leaders. If it wasn't so incredulous a storyline, it may have been a more interesting story. Of course it is fiction with historical fact. I enjoyed the book but found the TV plot to be overboard with its theme. The story in France has magic and mahem but most people did not enjoy this first half of the story. The second half, the bewitching two are back in Scotland finding themselves part of a scheme on behalf of the bonnie prince to take up arms and fight. We lose two important characters who we knew from season one. This is definitely a binge watching season. It was far more interesting to watch consequitively over several days than wait an entire season of 13 weeks to be disappointed week after week because we the TV audience expected more as in season one.
