Sturdy, Convenient and Good Sound Quality

This is the only in-ear headphone shape I can wear, and these are designed well with an extra little lip, in order to stay in the ear. Sturdy cord that doesn't tangle. Great length of cord - doesn't get in the way. Sound quality is great, however, I could do with the volume allowance slightly louder. Have had them just under a month and am very happy with the product. So far, the battery has lasted even longer than the advertised 4.5 hrs (hoping that remains the case)! Great purchase - would recommend.

Best Headpones I Have Ever Owned!

People complain about them falling out which i understand but these people must understand that not everyone's ears are the same shape so Philips and any of the other companies out there can never make earphones that fit everyone. The way i get around the falling-out issue is i have placed earphone foams on them which securely fits in my ears for long listening comfortably. These earphones are durable and i like the fact that the battery is placed behind the neck to make the speakers small and discrete. The flat cable prevents tangling plus adds to the durability of the cable. For all the people complaining about connection issues, mine pairs with my cellphone even when the cellphone is in my pocket just as soon as I turn on the earphone. The battery on my Philips earphone lasts me my whole trip to and from work and my lunch break every single shift. I believe the key to a long lasting and healthy battery life is to never over charge the headset. I use a portable battery to charge my headset and the portable charger automatically turns off when the headset has full battery. They are so good, I just went in store 20 minutes ago to order 3 pairs; two more for me and one as a gift for a friend. Please Philips, don't ever discontinue this product (SHB5250). Thank You Very Much! The King!

Great headphones

I have purchased two pairs of these headphones two months ago and can't tell anything bad about them. The sound quality and speech quality is very consistent and quite adequate. I love the shape and the design of the earpiece as opposed to proliferating In-Ear designs which are uncomfortable to my ear. The battery lasts just like it was advertised.

Do not stay in ears

They fell out easily while walking, control bar is heavy as well.

Decent buds

So far so good. They sound good and the battery lasts like advertised. Hopefully they continue to provide hours of listening wirelessly.

I wouldn't recommend these

Bought two pair.. One for my wife and one for me. I read reviews on manufacture's site and noted several people saying they fell out of ears, they lost connection and wouldn't in some cases very low battery life. But the majority of the reviews were positive. So I bought them. Great price, and really good sound. Well guess what. My pair now lasts no longer than 25 minutes. It looses connection. Impossible to re-connect. Has a static buzz after dying that you cannot turn off. One occasion no sound or connection but the white LED flashed continuously for days with no way to reset them or reconnect. In another forum, I found a person With same issue and he said it took over 36 hours for the battery to die and the LED to stop flashing... So I let them discharge, then recharged and they connected fine... for 25 minutes. I'll beyond the return period and don't have packaging, so have to return through the manufacturer. That's a pretty slick process too... on hold for 35 minutes. Three emails spread over 5 days to finally get the FedEx shipping label (ok it was over Christmas so I'll cut them a bit of slack)...and now according to them I'll only have to wait for 8-10 weeks for my refund cheque, AFTER they receive the package. Not sure how the pair my wife has will work out. So far they seem to be ok, but she doesn't exercise for more than 20 minutes with her pair. They do fall out of your ears if you where the cable behind your neck. Even wearing in the car, and especially while on my spin bike or elliptical. However I found wearing cable in front and tucking it under my tee worked fine. Too bad. The large drivers have great sound, and I bought then because of the similar elliptical earpiece design that still lets you hear room noise. Could be just a high failure rate in the manufacturing run but I wouldn't recommend. Mine worked fine for almost 3 weeks before issues started to appear.

Great sound

I bought two pairs of these, one for my wife and the other for myself for going to the gym and privately watching youtubes while in the same room etc. Excellent sound quality from the large drivers. If you like the sound from stock iPhone earbuds (the ellipse shaped ones with bass reflex port) you'll find these to be slightly better quality. Connects with my apple devices: iMac 2011 and 2012, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad 3, macbook pro 2009, iphone 6plus and 6... People in reviews have said they fall out of your ears... they do move a bit and will sometimes fall out when I'm on a Spin Bike or Elliptical IF YOU PUT THE BATTERY BEHIND YOUR NECK... I found the simple solution is just to pop the cable and battery down the front of your tee shirt and it NEVER falls out. Easy Peasy to connect. Specs say 4.5hr from the battery... I've never exercised that long in my life haha. Phone quality sound and mic work well. You can advance to the next or previous song by long pressing the + or _. Paring is simple. No code. Just hold the centre button for 4 sec until it Beep Bieps and it'll pair immediately with what ever you've had it hooked up to last. There were other choices, but most of them had the silicone nubs that push into your ear canal but I've always found those types to be uncomfortable and they block out more room noise which I don't like.

Product did not last long

I bought these pairs of earphones in June. They were fine for the first month or so but started having trouble pairing with bluetooth after two months. I wouldn't charge and connect to my phone after two months of use. I ran in them and they wouldn't stay in my ears. Overall, a bit of a disappointment for how short this product lasted. But sound quality and noise cancellation were good.

Sound is garbled and cuts out

Not at all impressed. They're a bit awkward to wear to begin with because of the batter/receiver. Worse, if I wear them with the cord and battery/receiver behind my neck (most comfortable), the sound often ends up garbled or cuts out entirely. When I move the cord and receiver so it's dangling in front of my neck, reception seems to be fine, but its a strange way to wear headphones and quite uncomfortable. I'm not that tall, so the distance between my pocket and the receiver is not that far. I expected a lot more from these, especially given the price and brand.

The best in it's Price Range

I just bought 2 pairs of these, one for myself and one for a friend of mine, we both loved it. I would say if you are still deciding on which entry level wireless headphones to buy, this one is definitely worthwhile to give it a try. Highly recommended! I have tried all the Monster wireless ones, they are all garbage and pricey and they hurts my ears. I am really picky about the base in these ear buds, the Monster ones doesn't have any base at all. This one has some but not too heavy. I would say the sound quality for this wireless earbuds are somewhat balanced. a bit better than your Apple earbuds. That's all I can say. But in terms of audio devices like even wireless Bluetooth speakers, Phillips never let me down. Their package might look cheap but the products itself is very reliable.

Poor sound

You are better off with a corded headphone for music unless it is physically impossible to use one.

Surprisingly Good!!

Pros: Price, comfort, sound quality Cons: Distance, battery life (depending on the user) I've been looking for wireless headsets that aren't direct into the ear for quite some time. Randomly searched fore wireless headsets two days ago and came across these. If you like the earPods Apple provides with its existing iphones/ipods you are going to love these. I only use them for the gym and can tell you they fit well and do not slip out (at least from my ears). Sound quality is slightly better than Apples earPods both in volume and base. Battery life is roughly 4 hours and it charges roughly in two hours. Once paired to your phone, you can walk away roughly 5-6 meters away (in my case atleast). for the price it's a good deal
