Great speakers for the price, if you are searching for bass you are looking in the wrong place tho (they have a lot of kick tho). They are set on my yamaha A-S301(60W/Ch) and they sound extremely good !

Polk Audio T600 200-Watt Tower Speaker

Great speakers at a great price. sound really good. speaker was a little big for my small living room but is worth the sound it produces

Great towers, for the right price.

Just picked up a pair of these @ [price] each (amazing deal!). Fantastic audio quality even powered by my entry level AVR as part of a 3.1 system. Highs aren't too harsh and they do put out a surprising amount of bass with the right calibration. Narrow profile is nice too when compared to the Kilpsch equivalent if space is an issue. Very happy with these so far.

This is the sound I've been craving for years

These are the third speakers I have bought since I got seriously into audio from 1993. They were very easy to set up thanks to the high quality rubber feet and slim design. I really enjoy how fast they respond to all kinds of music, even at low levels. The integration of the drivers is seamless and it doesn't sound like all the drivers are doing their own thing. The low bass, mid bass, mids and highs blend very well together, something that is only possible with speakers costing a lot more. The most odd thing about the T 600's is that they play loud, you feel the deep bass and attack of the speakers at high volume but your ears are never fatigued. It is so easy to spend a day listening from Mozart to Motorhead. These speakers are really for the audiophile that listens to a vast collection of music. This is exactly what I've been looking for and I found it with the T 600. Tower speakers at this price point usually lack depth, refinement and passion but these Polk Audio speakers have all of this. In fact, I am getting into some of my cds that I didn't enjoy in the past. To get all this magic, I am using a high level integrated amp, cd player, cables and line conditioner. If there are others out there with a less satisfactory experience with the T 600, it's probably because of using them with poor electronics and cables. Biamping or biwiring these speakers makes a huge difference in sound. On the negative side, the binding posts could be better. One of my binding posts doesn't tighten as well as the others. The jumpers that are included could also be better quality. Straight out of the box, these speakers sound horrible but with some patience and burn in, the sound opens up and becomes smoother. I have friends that have 40k systems, with speakers costing as much as 10k. They are all scratching their heads on how such affordable towers could sound so musical. Buy with confidence.

Great speakers for the price

I got an amazing deal on the speakers and can say they sound pretty good. I find them a bit harsh and not as balanced as some other brands. They will however sound better and better as they break in. I do find some types of music sound better then others.Jazz, country sound pretty good however when playing some types of rock or dance, I found the tweeters a bit harsh. It can be remedied with an EQ. I would say they better suited for your home theater set up than a 2 channel audio set up. I have it as a part of 7.2 set up and am happy with my purchase.

Excellent bang for the buck

Excellent bang for the buck (150 ea) Matched it to my sony avr and polk centre channel. I'm no audiophile but very happy with the sound quality. It goes to prove u don't have to spend a fortune to get quality.

Good Speakers, won't be disappointed

10 years ago, I had tested the Polk Audio speakers and compared with all other brands in their speaker testing room. And that sound quality impression lasted forever. When these T600 go on sale this Boxing week, I didn't hesitate to order them online. (I used to listen to my B&W speakers but they were damaged during a flood). I set them up with my Yamaha RX-V420 which is quite old and can only support Dolby Digital, paired them with a JBL Loft 20 centre speaker. The sound quality of the T600 is amazing, it is crisp and crystal clear. I tested them on Blue Ray with the movie 'Terminator Salvation'. The effect is like you are actually in a mini theatre. Everyone who has listened to my system all gave their thumbs up. Except that the bass part is a little weak. Overall, I am very satisfied with the T600. Don't forget to give them a break-in period, their performance will only become better and better.

I was searching for a couple of towers, after doing some research I came across these Gems. Excellent sound! Projects much better sound than most high-end towers. Waited for them to go on sale, glad to own them!!

Picked these up yesterday and so far very happy. I've seen a lot of bad reviews but I must say those people have no idea what sound quality is because for this price you can't complain at all. Crystal clear and with my sub they sound even better. I was told not to crank them up right away so I won't know really how pound they are but I'm glad I bought these over anything else.

Great towers

Picked these up for my new condo. Wanted to avoid bulky sub as I didn't want to disturb neighbours too much. These towers have great natural sound that hone theater in a box speakers cannot reproduce. For tv watching, I'd recommend using a centre speaker with these and setting amp on Dolby to distinguish speech from surrounding noises/music. Overall I'm very happy with construction, design and sound quality of these speakers. Something to keep in mind - they do have a break in period.

Great Bang For the Buck

Bought a pair of these for boxing day. Also bought a pair of Klipsch KF26s. Both were great but for half the price these sounded just as great, so I returned the others. Good quality sound at a great price. Paired them with a PS108 subwoofer and together they sound awesome, even with my 20 year old receiver. Highly recommended.

Great deal :-) !

Want to buy klipsch F10 , finally changed Mind and went to T600 ! It is much better than I expected , clear ,rich !

Great looks, terrible sound

Terrible sound quality. They look very nice with the gloss black fronts and blue cones. Unfortunately the sound is very cheap as are the components. Highs often squawked out of that tweeter like white noise. Lows muddy, mids buried and muddy. Smeared sound image. One of the worst speakers I ever tried.

Fantastic speaker

My first tower speaker and I am impressed, especially at the sale price I got them at. I have had good quality Paradigm bookshelves but no comparison to these. Very natural and airy sound. I also bought Onkyo 313 Receiver, nice combination.

Very Happy

I just converted all my speakers to Polk and what a difference. I just bought the Polk T600's to complete my configuration of center channel, subwoofer, 2 surround's and 2 back surround's. The sound is very clear, open and natural. I'm hearing things I couldn't hear before with my old speakers. The woofers are smaller than my old ones yet pack the right punch to compliment the sub. I'm very happy with my Polk speakers and if you can get then on sale...bonus!

Great Buy

I've been looking for a good pair of tower speakers for awhile that didn't break the bank. Luckily these went on sale. Hooked them up to my old Sony receiver (90watts per channel) along with my existing 5.1 setup. LOVE these speakers. Super CLEAN and CLEAR sound from high to low. Movies, TV and music sound 10 times better. Compliment them with a good subwoofer and some good highs and you're rockin.

Decent speakers

Finally had extra cash to upgrade from older low end budget speakers and had my doubts on cost of these. Totally blown away, had to invest in some good quality thicker wire to properly drive them from my receiver on higher volume (16 gauge) but worth the money.
