Headband cushion construction is poor

The sound quality from the ear cups and microphone on this headset is some of the best I've ever used. Problem is the physical construction of the headset is just plain awful. The headband cushion is held on by four tiny, cheap plastic supports. I bought my set at the beginning of may this year (2017) and on the 5th of July two of these supports cracked on me which made it impossible to properly seat on my head. The earcups would rest on the top of my ears which was very uncomfortable for 5 minutes, let alone a multi-hour gaming session. I bought them back to Bestbuy and exchanged them for a new set. On July 20th the exact same thing happened. Same two clips just popped while I was watching a movie on my PC. I exchanged them for a Logitech G933 Artemis 7.1, which I wouldn't recommend for another reason. You can go read the review I left on that to see why.

Good Upgrade

Recently I decided to give up on my old Logitech G930 in favor of a new wireless headset, and opted to try the Razer Man O' War. In comparison to my old headset, there are some good things and some bad things of note. Notably, the main reason I gave up my old G930 had to do with frequent disconnects - likely due to Wi-Fi interference, a common issue on the G930. The Man O' War is clearly superior on this issue, both having little issue with disconnects but also with a superior re-connect time for those instance it does disconnect. However, I will note that this is likely not a headset intended for long sittings. I think Razer did a pretty poor job in designing their headset for comfort, as while I had no issues with the Logitech G930 sitting on my head for long sessions, I can't say the same for the Man O' War. It is likely more suited to being a headset you were for short periods rather then long ones. Overall for my purposes, the Man O' War does a good job, but for such a hefty price that a Wireless Headset demands I'm not sure I would recommend it.

Great electronic functionality, Faulty Structure

Had this headset about 2 months. The sound quality of the earpieces and the microphone. However the headband has a serious design flaw. The padded part of the headband is a separate piece from the main structure and is only held in place by 4 small and brittle plastic arms. After only two months, two of the little arms snapped as I readjusted the position on my head. I also saw on the Razer subreddit that this is a very common problem and most users had theirs break in this way within only 30 days. Would not recommend getting this headset. Either get a Kraken, wait for Razer to produce a new one with a better structural design or get a comparable brand.

Very good sound

Good sound drivers, wireless range is ok, 20 ft with out and interruption, 40 can get a little choppy. Head set is not as stable as it could be move to fast or grab it to quick and their goes your driver. worth the price for a wireless head set, mic reach is a little short but pickup is good. would recommend to someone looking for a wireless head set.

Sounds good when it works

Pros - Sound great - Mic is crystal clear Cons - Constantly disconnects - Worse in MacOS - Rubs your ears raw - Razer Synapse software makes connectivity worse

Warrantied Twice.

About to return my second pair of these to Razor. Its a long process because Best Buy won't take them out due to health code regulations. First set had popping noises during low frequency sound. Second set has a constant hum/buzzing noise in the left earphone in the which responds to ambient noises. Mic monitoring and listening to the mic is turned off. It occurs on multiple computers. Humming is progressively getting worse with time. Disappointed to say the least. Not worth the price.
