Great picture, intuitive interface

I've had two Roku smart TVs now. My first one was lost in a flood but I liked the interface and options a lot so I chose to get a second one. I really like how clear the picture. The remote is very basic but that also means you're not swamped with a lot of buttons. Has access to all the features of a basic TV but also options to stream shows through Youtube or Netflix.

Bonne TV pour le prix

Pour le prix c'est une excellente qualité. Roku me permet de visionner les videos sur mon réseau ce que je 'adore. L'image est très nette en 1080P. Je recommande surtout lorsqu'elle est en psécial.

great picture but bad design

i was really excited when i saw this model in store. i've been wanting to try the Roku features for many years, and thought this would be the best opportunity. that excitement quickly disappeared as soon as the TV has gotten set up. the only positive aspect of this tv set is the picture quality. everything else is frustrating, compared to other tv's i have owned. and i am not even talking about the "roku/smart tv" part of it. - the remote control has so many limitations that you have to scroll through the options menu to change, say, the picture size or the broadcast audio track; - no channel schedule info whatsoever! - channels list does not display info about the currently playing program (just numbers and broadcast codes); - no RGB component input. so your older equipments won't work (game consoles for instance); - when turning on any CEC-capable device, the TV input does not switch automatically to that source. you have to return to the "home" menu, and guess/select the source manually; - the most infuriating thing is the audio output jack: the speakers are automatically disabled whenever you plug any cable into it. i have a headphone amp and splitter that i used to keep connected permanently into my older TV without affecting the speakers output. now, i have to plug and unplug the cable to re-enable the speakers. why not both? so, if you are using this TV for watching shows from one single source, you'll be fine. otherwise, pick something else.

Not worth the frustration.

The tv itself is good, quality etc however the mute button is too close to the volume button on the remote. Considering how often you use the remote you will find yourself frustrated by always hitting mute especially if you have a normal sized hand. It was definitely not designed well. the tv also powers down for no reason whatsoever after only 3 months of use, I am expecting it to get worse as time goes on.

DON'T BUY - Factory Reset Renders TV Unusable

I recently bought one of these TVs as an open box. The TV was completely frozen when I turned it on and hours of calls to tech support made no difference. I took the TV back to the store and got another one which had the exact same issue. Sharp's tech support informed me that the factory reset button on the TV causes the issue. When geek squad prepares TVs for the open box they hit the reset button and effectively brick the TV in doing so. Why Bestbuy would continue to sell these as open boxes is beyond me. I know what you're thinking - don't buy an open box then. The thing is, you can go ahead and buy a new one. It will work just fine...until it doesn't. Then, geek squad will try to reset it and mess up your TV. If you want a TV that is virtually irreparable after any issue, I highly recommend this one.

Bad delivery service from Purolator!

After 20 days of ordering online, the item was placed on the delivery truck from Friday 9:00 am, then on Monday by noon I get a phone call from the office confirming my address, after being on hold for half an hour finally got hold of the customer service to tell me that the trucks already left and have to wait for another day. What kind of service is that they already done delivering by noon never heard of that before never ordering online again!

Great tv

This is a great tv I don't know what the other people are talking about! The smart tv works great and fast, the picture quality is amazing for an led 1080p screen full hd. For the price on Boxing Day it is a very good tv. The only thing I would say that should improve is the screen mirroring is only available for andriods and not apple devices.

mixed review

Great picture... better then my Samsung smart but is lacking some features. I got it on a boxing day sale for a good price which was great but then I tried to use the "smart" functions. There is no web browser and the USB in does not play .AVI files on the media player. The remote was garbage so any money I saved I spent on a Logitech remote and aftermarket cables.

good purchase

exactly what I expected. I owe a sharp aquos and although the picture quality and features don't compare, it's still a great tv for the price I paid for it. I stream Netflix on it for my kids and so far no issues at all. I'm definitely happy with this purchase.

Great tv

I had originally ordered on line a Sharp 32 inch on black friday sale.The demand was so high that I could not get so they offered me this 43 inch sharp TV with a discount offer because I could not get the other tv.This was a great offer from best buy.Customer satisfaction is there number 1 priority.This TV is great.Nice colours easy to set up and I installed in spare room.Would recommend .Do find the price high compare to other well know brands.

Amazing Bedroom TV

Bought this for a good price a little less than a month ago. So far, there have been no problems that other users have been having. I use Netflix and Emby to watch things, otherwise I am playing PS3 and PS4 on it. The colours are very vibrant. It is one of the best budget TVs I've ever seen. Does exactly what I need it to. Fairly impressed with the sound as well. I thought that a sound bar might be needed, but it isn't.

Waste of money

Garbage Television, absolutely terrible picture quality, my 720p hisense junker tv has much better picture than this. I am appaled by the lack of settings and no real smart features other than mediocre streaming capabilities. 0/10. Worst tv I have ever purchased, will be returning asap.

picture mode

bought the TV on black friday recently took too long to finally get it because of the carrier Purolator screw up finally hook it up only to find out that the picture mode all messded up everything so huge on the screen could not get it to fit the screen the way i wanted it hopefully they wont give me a hassle when i bring it back seem like a good enough tv i like the feautures 3 hmdi ports and usb port

Really good for the price

Me and my girlfriend bought this TV because we were looking for a "cheap" smart TV. It doesn't so much reflect the price point. We have had no issues with it so far and we're loving it. We also bought the 4 year in store replace/repair warranty. Bestbuy is a wicked store with good customer service as long as you know what you have. No warranty and they can't really do much at all for you. But if you buy the warranty they do everything they can to help. I know because I've delt with it in the past. But as for the TV it's a really good 1080p smart TV for the price. My only con is that it is a little blue.. the whites are not a true white but you can calibrate it and get that sorted out super quick. Highly recommend this.

Great

Had this tv for over a year and a half and still works perfect, and it gets used a lot, only downside are the speakers, but they suck on any tv, add a soundbar and great set up, way worse out there for way more money, def a recommend!

Excellent color

I like the sound and the picture clarity and the colors in the TV. It works amazingly well with Roku TV built in. I haven't purchased a television package yet. We are happy with the wifi and online streaming. The only disadvantage i see so far is the lack of Bluetooth connectivity to and from this TV.

Great tv

We haven't had the tv for very long but we are very happy with it. Love the roku!! Our last two tvs had been Samsung, the first one lasted only 3 years tops and the 2nd we had died before we had it one year..... Samsung refused to do anything for Warranty, which was really quite upsetting. So to me brand name means absolutely nothing! Great tv, great price, great sound and picture.

MY TV STOPPED WORKING

Manufacturing says one year online, I purchased this TV without store warranty. But it's been only 4 months I brought the TV randomly stopped working. I took it back to store bad customer service confused lady, They can not return way over 14 days but should at least fix it or replace it for me. Manufacturing fault or error that TV went dark screen on me..
