over all I love these. BUT I HATE THE WEIGHT OF THE BATTERY. I wanted these for cardio and before I even tryed these I can already feel the weight of the battery, not heavy in general but very heavy for the type of activity and VS the weight of the ear buds. unfortunately I will still have by 100% wireless in the near future. Sound and battery life is no trouble, next to perfect.

Awesome headphones and a great sale price

I bought these headphones a few days ago cause they were on sale and I've heard the were great. This is my first pair of wireless headphone and I have to say I'm hugely impressed, I read some of the reviews and people taking about them sliding down your neck and that does happen however I just tuck them under my sports bra and they don't move anywhere. The sound quality is great as well, I usually put my phone on the floor with my water bottle at the gym and had no problems with sound cutting out of being fuzzy like what people have mentioned. I'd definitely recommendthem to other people.

Sound quality good

I found the sound quality really good in these earbuds, what I didn't like was no matter what I tried I could not get them to stay on my neck, they constantly fall down my back. I emailed the manufacturer and asked if they had heard of this or if there was anyway they could help fix and was told by a customer service agent that "she didn't have this problem so they weren't going to do anything to help fix the problem " basically go pound sand.

What's all the hype about ?

After reading the rave reviews, I bought these with confidence. Boy was I disappointed. The fit is not good, with either size bud, the sound is very ordinary. I've set them aside and use the wired earbuds that came with my iPhone instead. Makes me wonder about the legitimacy of online reviews. Beware, this product is non refundable for reasons of hygiene. If you aren't satisfied, it's your problem. Stay away.

Great sound but issues when pairing

The sound quality is great and holds charge for a while...but there are pairing issues when connecting to a desktop computer.

Gotta Good Beat, Easy To Dance To, I'll give 'em a 95.

I purchased these on sale to use with my ipod. Easy to set up the Bluetooth. They fit just fine. The audio is acceptable. At times the sound will cut out. At the Sale price point I'd rate these 4.5 Stars.

Lived up to Expectations

I have always been a fan of Skull Candy because it is affordable to the common human and quite durable for its cost. This is the first time I have purchased a wireless Skull Candy headset and I am more than pleased. It works great and it is easy to use and I don't even notice that there is anything laying on the back of my neck. Solid sound as well!

  • from WINNIPEG

Just okay

From the reviews I thought that it would be better but I find that the buds want to come out of my ears during a vigorous walk and that the control buttons are in an awkward location.

First wireless headphones

I've had these since Christmas of 2015 and I have had little problems with them. They are great to workout with (especially when you don't have pockets to keep your phone in). The sound quality and bass meet my expectations. The battery life lasts fairly long (roughly 4-5 hours on one charge) and they charge pretty quickly. My only complaint with these is that the removable band doesn't stay around my neck very well at times. Otherwise it's a pretty good product!

  • from Ajax, ON

Great product and not missing the wires

This is my first pair of wireless headphones and I love the freedom. I was damaging my ears whenever I would accidentally catch the cord. Sound and look of these is great and the price is right also.

Way Beyond Expectations

As good a sound as any wired ear buds I have had to date. More comfortable than my noise cancelling head phones which are too hot to wear while out working in the yard. No more worries about getting tangled in the cord which can damaging the phone, cord or headphones. These bluetooth buds are comfortable, light, cool and easy to fact, un-noticeable. (the neck piece does move out of position when working in awkward position or fully bending over at the waist, head down (not uncomfortable but could stress the earbud cables.) I use them while gardening, climbing in tree/hedge to chains branches, chipping, lawn mowing and splitting wood etc. In one case when I was worried about the phone getting damaged in my pocket, I put the phone down in a central location (so it would be out of harms way while working) and signal was good over at least a 25' radius without drop out. (LG G3). I actually forgot the phone was there until I went to look for the phone in my pocket to check for texts. I charge before each use, so cannot say what the full duration of use is, but they work as long as I want to work... 3-4 hrs. I am so glad to now have these!!!

Well worth it

Sweet bass...great connectivity. Totally worth the price for a mid/low price product. Great seal and noise isolation (for me). I would definitely but this again. Phone calls also work really well with this too. #truckersdream

Love these

I bought these to drown out a couple of co-workers and they're great. Super comfortable and easy to use. I do wish, however, that there was a battery status indicator - but other than that. I even use them to go kayaking in. Am so glad I got them.

Good with some minor flaws

Pros; - good battery - easy to connect with no drop connections. - good comfort (not up to bose comfort standards but still great ) - good design for the gym. Cons: - Beep warning you of max volume is to loud - on and off sound is low I would buy again without hesitation.

Good headphones

I have been using these head phones for about 2 weeks and so far I liked them. Build and voice quality is good. One problem I have come across they seem to slide out with sweat after a run so I have to tap them in from time to time. Just to make it clear it's not terrible like Apple's original ones that don't stay in my ears even for 5 seconds. These ones don't pop out but just feel like they are sliding out. I haven't tried replacing the extra cups - maybe they fix this issue. I bought these on promotion so they are definitely worth the price.

smokey buds 2

absolutely bloody awful. The range is poor. I can't even have my phone in my pocket and these on without them cutting out a dozen times during a single 4 minute song. Absolutely disappointed and dissatisfied, I will be returning these right away. Don't waste your time and money on these garbage Bluetooth ear buds they suck and have no range what so ever. The only time they played fine was when I held the phone up right next to them.

Kept Breaking up.

Great Price. when on sale I use a nexus 6 and if my phone was in my pocket, it kept loosing signal. tried resetting . only worked if i had phone out of my pocket. and for me that was the whole idea of bluetooth. to get rid of wires. will be returning tomorrow and will try something elese.

  • from ottawa

petty good

my 1st pair of bluetooth buds and pleased. very easy to use which was my 1st worry. Only complaint is the heavier neck piece kept slipping down my back, so I removed the optional rubber frame leaving just the ribbon cable and that stays in place much better.

Best earbuds/phones I've used on my iPhone

I've tried various plug-in and BT earbuds and earphones but these are the best I've used so far. These were on sale and the price was too tempting not to give these a try. I'm glad I did - it was easy to pair these up and they sounded great out of the box. I still wanted a bit more bass and I just set this through the phone's EQ and it's now just right for me. I didn't try the mike, but that's not an important feature for me. Next time these are on sale I will probably pick up an extra set.

Good buds

I had used overear Sennheiser BT headphones for years and was spoiled rotten by the quality. They still work in fact, but I am needing to wear eyeglasses more and more often and earcup-style headphones get in the way of eyeglass-wearing, and vice-versa, at least for me. So I elected to try out some BT earbud styles and decided to go with this brand due to a sale at the time. There are three things that are important in these headphones: (!) comfort (2) sound quality and (3) durability. Marking these buds on those three features alone, these guys get 2.5 out of 3. (1) Comfort: The style takes some getting used to but it is still nice to be mostly wire free. There's nothing worse than accidentally yanking wired headphones out of your phone when you're walking or moving about. These have wires, one earbud connected to the other in a loop that goes around the back of your neck, so they are still subject to certain things, like moving your head, clothing, etc., but they are a big step up from wired headphones. They are light, though the loop at the back of your neck has a nicely weighted anchor that keeps things comfortably positioned. The earbuds are traditional silicone, two sizes in the box to fit your needs, but that's common. (2) Sound Quality: These are not as good as my Sennheisers but the sound quality is much much better than a (price)pair of name brand wired headphones you can pick up in most stores. SkullCandy is known for going heavy on the bass, and these have plenty of that, with a loud max volume too, possibly even pushing a tad into dangerous territory. (3) Durability: One of the most surprising features of these earbuds is their build quality. I used to buy those (price)wired earphones years ago and they would last a couple months before an accidental yank on the wires would cause the wiring to strain too much and they'd soon be garbage. The Smokin Buds 2 have solid-feeling but bendable, thick rubber wires that feel like they can put up with a lot of strain, though they shouldn't have to because the wires are out of the way much of the time. I didn't initially expect them to, but I think these will last quite a while with special handling. There are some other features about these headphones that aren't all that unique. The battery for example, will require charging every day or two, depending on how often you use them. Connection distance is about the same for any BT speaker or headphone. Price is not cheap but also not super expensive. You can do much worse than these earbuds.

sound quality is good...

need improvement in mic..

  • from Vancouver, BC

Just awful sound

I bought these to go with my new android phone - thought the size and convenience would be great. Ergonomically they are fine but the sound quality was terrible - like a tin can on a string. Maybe I just got a bad unit. Anyway, Best Buy took them back without a problem and I chose something else that I am very happy with.

  • from Toronto, ON

Good Value

Sound is average but the battery and range (15-20 feet) are good and it fits well.

  • from Brampton, ON

The Worst!

So I got these headphones from the boxing day sale, and at first they were great. I use them every night for work, and the more I use it, the more I start to hate them, and regret the purchase. I didn't lose the charging USB, I would of returned it. 1.There are various times when I'm listening to music the audio cuts out, and I have to turn the Bluetooth off my phone, then turn it back on for it to come back. 2.The way its designed, it falls off the back of my neck constantly, even as I type this. 3.When I talk to people on the phone, I have to talk louder than usual. The mic is far from my mouth, and with it falling off my neck it gets pretty annoying. I can say this about it though, it doesn't fall out my ears at all, and has really good sound quality when it isn't chipping in and out. If I could do it again, I would of bought something else.

Must have got a bad pair

Read all the reviews before I bought these and thought I'd give them a shot because I was tired of headphones only lasting a few months because of wire breakage. Sound is awesome, however, if my phone is in my pocket, the sound constantly cuts out. Even when I put my phone somewhere where there isn't any obstructions that could interfere with the signal, they constantly cut out. Sadly, because they're headphones, I can't return them or even sell them. Will be buying the wired equivalent.

Canadian Winter

I found these headphones work great when you're inside, but as soon as I put on my winter jacket and scarf, the connection was hit and miss between it and my ipod. I think during the summer or while at the gym they are exactly what I want, but I may have to upgrade to a more expensive pair as there's so much interference with layers of clothes.

  • from Surrey, BC

my christmas present to myself

wasn't sure how these would stack up to the more expensive ones but wanted to try them out. They work fantastic! super easy to connect to your device, excellent battery life, don't notice the neck band at all. The controls take a bit to get used to as they will hang pretty close to your neck so you can't exactly look at it when pressing the buttons. Great sound quality, very nice bass typical of SC products. Notice some clicking sounds when I get too far away from the device(20'+), but I think that's normal as the signal is getting weaker. No issues when its on your body or in a backpack. I would highly recommend these. Going to buy another pair when on sale or when they come in some different colors.

Best Buds

I have been looking for a good set of Bluetooth ear buds for a awhile have looked at denon ones monster etc, all had bad reviews or where a no name brand and cost [price], and I did not want huge ear muffs, so when I saw these and looked at the reviews I purchased them, and I'm glad I did these are the best ear buds I have ever owned they fit perfect can wear for hours on end and no discomfort, and they sound absolute amazing, great bass clear ranges can hear everything they pump out. can not recommend highly enough.

Best sounding Bluetooth earbuds

I have gone through a variety of Bluetooth headphones, mostly of the cheaper variety and have been disappointed with all of them. I have sacrificed audio quality for the convenience of wireless for the gym and running. The Skullcandy's sound great and the connection quality is great. The neck loop takes a little to get used to, but it actually provides a little stability when running where others would bounce around too much. I would definitely recommend this to anybody that needs the convenience of wireless without sacrificing too much in terms of audio quality. The price when on sale is unbeatable as well.
