sony sound bar

I put some old mp3 into the sound bar,,and the sub-woofer is quite weak,,and then I put some new mp3 into it,,and then wa-la,,what a difference,,it turns out the sub-woofer is ok,,,,its the mp3 that is the problem,,,,you make sure you have some very good,,high quality mp3,,to use it for testing...

Good for the price!

Not the best but not the worst. Improved the sound on my LG tv, which is all I wanted and agree depending on the channel source subwoofer sounds good or not at all. But still decent sound for the price!

Good quality sound

Good quality for this much price

Nice high ends but the subwoofer is crap

I can't even tell it has a subwoofer unless I look at it. Sounds like a tweeter and the subwoofer might as well not even be there for all the good it does.

I sold my house and moved to a small condo, My Bose 123 surround system is to strong for this place. So decided to buy the cheapest I could and you no what, this does the job, for sure its not comparable to my Bose but for the price I paid does the job, improves my LG TV sound dramatically and really nice small sound. The Bass is just enough without disturbing the neighbors. Easy set up and takes very little space, the sound bar behind the TV and Woofer below, great stuff, happy about this purchase and believe me if I am not happy I take it back, that's the beauty with Best Buy! , dont get me wrong a larger house you need a good system but for small apartment or condo, this does the job !!

It's advertised as 80 watts. I'd be surprised if it was 18 watts. I turned it up as loud as it will go, and my TV was still louder than it. I returned it

Cheap but decent

Only downfall not enough bass power in this unit to get the deep bassy sound and fully fledge woahhh experience it's Meh kind of expensive for the crappy sub It's clean sounding for sure.

Great sound for the price

Purchased this recently and I'm very impressed with the sound. My experience in no way matches what others are complaining about here! I did not connect the bar to my TV, but instead have it connected to my PC that I'm using as a media server. Setup is extremely simple, I've got the sub volume set to the highest level it goes, and set the PC volume to 50% prior to adjusting the volume on the soundbar. There is quite a difference between the different audio settings, I find the Surround setting is the best overall for whatever I'm watching. This system will not provide nearly the same listening experience as a full stereo system would, but for an apartment, it's perfect.

not sure

I have installed this sound bar and must say that I am unsure if there is any different. Unless I turn up the volume I do not find any difference. Not sure if it's worth it.

it did what I expected it to do

My ten year old ALTEC LANSING thin speaker with subwoofer for slightly higher price at a time still have a better sound and subwoofer actually gives base, where these speakers sound quality is no better then my free Bluetooth speaker out of beer case and subwoofer is a joke. Only reason is why i'm keeping it is because my older TV needs new speakers. Suggestion: if you looking for great quality sound keep looking this is not it!

Sony sound bar

I have a Sony Bravia TV with an optical outlet but it does not work with the sound bar. Had to connect the sound bar through my cable box but then it doesn't work for the blue ray player or Wii. I big of a let down. This was our second sound bar that didn't work through the optical outlet on the tv but the other one didn't let us know we could hook it up through the cable box. Still not the greatest alternative since it only works for the TV .

Sony soundbar improved the volume on my RCA TV

I wanted to improve the sound on the secondary tv in my home (RCA), and this soundbar did the job. I'm pleased and i got a deal on it. Unfortuntently the RCA tv doesn't have a port for the optical cord, but the aux cord i'm HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!

Sound cuts out or skips sometimes

This soundbar does improve the sound of your TV but it isn't as awesome as I expected it to be based on reviews. The volume cranked way up isn't that loud and the subwoofer isn't very powerful. Also there are no on screen menus. The audio also skips or cuts out for a second or two intermitently while watching DVDs which can be quite annoying. I'm returning this unit and exchanging it for a better one. You get what you pay for - sometimes.

Sony Sound Bar a bargain

The sound quality of the Sony Sound Bar HTC T80 is excellent for the price you pay. Why pay a fortune if all ypur looking for is to enhance your TV system's speakers.
