Cool Christmas Gift

Got the View-Master as a Christmas gift for a grandson - who always plays video games - to give him a different activity. Have received no negative feedback so I assume he's happy with it and has had no issues.

Not bad

bought this today, i must say for the price its not bad. Works with google cardboard and the bunch of youtube videos out there. A little creativity is need to fix a head strap to and a hole for the stereo jack though.

Fun but not practical

I purchased this a few days ago and i will say that its really neat. Lots of fun apps on google play for it and its Google Cardboard certified with a QR code, and for the price it sure beats the cardboard versions. However it terribly uncomfortable, it always leaves a big red mark on my nose and after practically no time, also it doesnt sit right on my face (this just might be me) i can always see a large gap around my nose where the rubber face part is located, this takes away from the overall experience quite a bit. Lastly i find myself having to alter my focal point to see everything. I think it could use a few things, overall comfort could use a lot of work, it could use a headstrap, a hole so a phone charger can fit in and id really like it if there wasnt an inch gap just below my nose, it lets a lot of light in.

Nice product but has flaws

The price of this product makes a lot sense compared to most Google Cardboards which are priced 20+USD and requires extra shipping fees. This is cheaper and more durable. My iPhone 6 plus works well with it. I cannot, however, use my wired earphones while using it. There is no such a space for earphone wires. I have to manually drill one.

It was okay

The system itself is okay, I wish there was a way to tap the screen while using other google cardboard apps. The actual google cardboard you get online has a magnet that does that. The pull tab wasn't very responsive with the slides I had. It also gave me a wicked headache and made me nauseous, but that might just be a personal thing. The case is very hard and is hard on the nose. I ended up returning it.

Awesome and Fun Product

Two Observations 1/ No head strap.......the full feeling of VR is kind of lost because you are using one hand to hold it in place. 2/ There is no spot for the phone charger to go in therefore if the phone is not charged ....to bad Things to be considered for future updates.

Nearly perfect

This is a very fun device for VR on your cellphone. Soft rubber for the eyepiece, very comfy. Lightweight and easy to open and close. However it's lacking an opening for a pair of headphones, and somewhere to attached a head strap. There is a vent style hole for sound to come through, but requires full volume (battery drainer). Bluetooth is also an option depending on your device but wired would be better as anything wireless has delay issues, so what you see may not match what you hear exactly. This is especially important for those surprise events in some of the scary VR applications. Having a head strap would also be a huge help for some of the games that require controller, or simply for the full immersion feel of moving your head without having to twist your whole upper body to look at something.

Pretty Rad

This thing is pretty rad. I used it with a Nexus 6p and it looks great. It fits perfectly also. No head strap though for those who want one.
