not bad

when i got it, all the packaging was good everything was fine. I don't see why this is such a bad product. Everything was good, worked, meh... but this is a good starter tablet for sure.

I've never been so angry over a piece of technology.

So lets start of by saying I do not say every piece of technology is garbage. I have had 2 wacom tablets in my life, my very first one (Wacom splash) serving me a good 4+ years. I loved that tablet. But now, wacom has taken it to a new level. a new level of cheap plastic, crappy troubleshooting options, and bad support on phone. I've never had such bad experience with any product than wacom. sure wacom does its job when it works, but it doesn't work 60% of the time. My wacom Intuos is not even a year old and more than half the time when i plug it in, the usb plug in is wobbly, the cover for the back is cheap plastic that i could easily snap in half with both fingers, and mostly it just doesn't work. i've called wacom support twice just because of this product, because either it won't use pressure when it says it does, or it doesn't work at all because it says it can't find the drivers in the tablet. to conclude this review if there was a bigger tablet based company to rival wacom, i would buy their product without even considering it.

Great Tablet Poor Driver

The tablet/pen is wonderful not only in Lightroom/Photoshop but as a permanent substitute for the mouse. It takes a few days to get used, but you will say goodbye to your mouse for good after that! However, the driver is really poor, the pen stops working 2-3 times a day and you'll need to restart the driver. And the customer service is not the best, took two weeks to respond with solutions that I had already tried and not worked.

Driver Problems

This company has several driver problems. The cd that is shipped with the tablet is out of date and their website support is very poor.

Setup not a breeze

Perhaps this is a one-off, but since yesterday we've been trying to download the included software to no avail. their website seems to be on the fritz. When we finally managed to register the product...after MANY attempts we then get stuck in a loop hole . Also tried calling their support line and get "all circuits busy". If not luck by end of day product will likely go back.

Wacom drawing tablet

The Intuos line is for beginners and budget conscious people such as myself. I found the device performs well and predictably, as I expected from a Wacom tablet. Combine this purchase with a program like Serif DrawPlus X8 and you can draw some vector graphics with greater ease than you could with a mouse alone.
