Apple device trade-in instructions

Before bringing in your device:

  1. Back up your device. Please make sure you back up all personal information like contacts, pictures, videos, music, calendars, and notes.
  2. Factory reset your device using the instructions below.

How to factory reset your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch:

  1. Open your device’s Settings app.
  2. Select “General”.
  3. Scroll down and select “Reset”.
  4. Select “Erase iPhone” to confirm.

How to factory reset your Mac:

  1. Restart your Mac by holding down the Command and R keys.
  2. Select "Disk Utility".
  3. Choose your main drive from left-hand menu. 
  4. Click "Erase"
  5. Close "Disk Utility" and select "Reinstall macOS".

Do I need to bring accessories and manuals?

Yes, if you bring your product without accessories, manuals it may impact the value of your trade in.

What stores can I bring my device into?

You can bring your device into any store other than the following stores: Kelowna (BC), Winnipeg (MB), Sudbury, Granby & Rosemere (QC) due to municipal by-laws.
