Checking Your Order Status

Want to know what’s happening with your order? See below to learn how to check an order's status.

Please note that due to a large increase in shipping volume, we are experiencing delays in delivery time and how soon tracking information is updated. If your tracking information is taking a while to update, know this is normal. Simply check back later for the most accurate delivery information.

Checking your order status if you have an account

If you have an account with Best Buy Canada, simply follow these steps to check an order's status:

  1. Sign in to your Best Buy Canada account
  2. On your account dashboard, go to the Order History tile and choose “Your orders”
  3. Once the page opens, simply find the order you are looking to check to see its current status

If you can’t find the order you're looking for, you may have placed it as a guest. If so, you can look up your order using your order number and email address.

Checking your order status if you don't have an account

If you placed an order as a guest, you can still check an order's status by following these steps:

  1. Simply look up your order, using your order number and email address
  2. Once you’re on the Order Details page, look for the order status

If your order has shipped, you can track it through the shipping carrier’s website.

What your order status means

Here is what each order status means:

  • In Progress: Your order is being worked on
  • Shipped: Your order has left our warehouse
  • Cancelled: Your order has been cancelled
  • On Hold: Your order is on hold until we get more information from you
