Checking Your Order Status
Once you place an online order, we'll do our best to get it delivered as soon as possible. You'll only be charged once your order has been shipped.

How to check the status of your online order
If you placed an order through your My Best Buy account
- Sign in to your My Best Buy account.
- From your account dashboard, choose Order History and then select the “Online” tab.
- Find your order from those listed on the page. Click on "See Details" to see the status of any order.
If you can’t find the order you're looking for, you might have placed it as a guest. See below for steps on how to check a guest purchase order status.
If you placed an order as a guest
- Simply look up your order, using your order number and the email address you used to make your purchase.
- Once you’re on the Order Details page, look for the order status.
If your order has shipped, you can track it through the shipping carrier’s website.
What your order status means
When checking your order status, you will see one of the following:
- In Progress: Your order is being worked on
- Shipped: Your order has left our warehouse
- Cancelled: Your order has been cancelled. Any time an order is cancelled we will send you an email within 24 hours to let you know. There are various reasons why an order can be cancelled, such as:
- The item is not in stock.
- At the time you made your order, there was a pricing or information error.
- Your order exceeded the quantity limit allowed for a particular product.
- On Hold: Your order is on hold until we get more information from you. We will send you an email to let you know and provide instructions on what is needed for us to process your order.
