  • Good Cross Bars, Bad Mounting System

    Putting the cross bars together is easy and they feel solid. However, you will still need tools to secure the cross bars to your roof rack as the bolts will continue to turn in place while you tighten the lower nuts as the bolts sit on top of the bar and not in a secured housing to prevent them from spinning in place. If they had that, I'd give these 4 stars because you could then put them on and take them off with no tools required.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
