You can add an SSD

Nice quality and excellent screen for this price. If the 64GB eMMC isn't enough memory for you, under the back cover is an empty M.2 SSD slot. I installed a 256GB WD Blue. It's about 5 X faster than the eMMC.

It’s definitely worth of it’s price .

Severely underpowered

The N4200 processor just isn't powerful enough to provide a good experience on this machine. And I found myself wanting more than 4 GB ram. See photos for dismal benchmark scores: 681.1 on PassMark and Raft/ 27% as Desktop on UserBenchmark I really wanted to like this notebook as I love Acer. The size is perfect and the look and feel is great. I didn't have any issues with the fingerprint sensor and the keyboard felt decent enough. But I have returned this and will be purchasing the ASUS ZenBook UX430UA with hopes it will be better!

Great value laptop! You will find it very hard to find a laptop with this build quality and specs at this price. I am able to run 10 plus tabs on chrome no problem. It is great for watching video and listening to music. It is a great media and browsing machine. Very portable. My only con so far is with the fingerprint scanner. IT doesn't work properly. When the laptop goes to sleep it doesn't recognize my fingerprint when I try and log back in and I have to enter pin/password. Only happens when going to sleep. If I full restart my fingerprint works. Updating to latest fingerprint sensor drivers didn't fix the issue either. I googled the issue and it is common with the swift 3 as well. Overall this thing is great and I would highly recommend it to anyone just looking to internet browsing and media consumption.

Very good laptop for the budget

So first off, this laptop comes with 64 GB of EMMC storage (essentially an SSD, but a bit slower), not an HDD. This laptop is overall built extremely well, with it's full metal chassis. It feels rugged enough to be able to be thrown in a bag (I do indeed throw it in my bag with tons of books and other things when I go to school), yet light and thin enough to not greatly increase your bag weight. The keyboard does have short travel, but if you're like me and prefer keyboards with more tactile feedback and that are slightly harder to press (they have a relatively high activation force), then you'd very much enjoy this keyboard. Overall, this keyboard is very comfortable to type on, and I managed to get my (still) highest WPM score of 113. The only large caveat with buying this particular model is the international (french) keyboard layout (left shift key is broken up into 2 keys, enter is taller than the usual wide), but it is fairly easy to get used to. And yes, this model does have a back-lit keyboard. This laptop also includes a fingerprint, which is a breeze to setup and use. The battery life is very good - it is able to pull off at least 6 hours of battery life with ease. Especially if you're just typing docs or reading articles on a browser, 10 hours is very feasible. The screen is phenomenal. Maybe not the best display, nor comparable to desktop monitors made for colour-accurate work, but this by no means a poor display by any means. The colours are extremely vibrant, making watching movies and videos a great experience. The screen is 13.3" 1080p (1920x1080), so you will have to increase the magnification to 150x or 125x (125x is definitely usable). The screen has fantastic viewing angles - I could watch a movie looking from the top of the laptop and still see the screen clear enough. Another neat feature (perhaps not useful for everyone) is the ability for the screen to tip back flat on the table (but not more than 180 degrees, unfortunately). In terms of performance - this laptop comes with a quad core (4c/4t) Intel Pentium N4200 CPU, 4 GB of DDR3 (LPDDR3, to be exact) RAM, Intel HD 505 integrated graphics, and 64 GB of EMMC storage. The CPU may not be impressive - 1.1 GHz base clock with a 2.5 GHz boost clock, but it is certainly enough for browsing and having multiple programs open. Of course, you won't be able to have a game open in the background plus 20 tabs open in a browser, but I often have more than 10 tabs open and a video playing without seeing significant slowdowns at all (I am using Firefox Quantum). The RAM has never been an issue, although at times it may approach the 3.8 GB limit (for me), so you won't be able to have RAM-heavy based applications (video editing program, image-editing program, etc.) open. The graphics are nothing to be excited about, they can perform old games quite well, but definitely not current-gen titles. The storage, however, is very fast. I can boot up Windows 10 in about 10-20 seconds. The fingerprint sensor is very fast, though it can not work when your finger is wet or oily. This version of Windows 10 Home is not N, so it would come with the usual bloatware (easily removable, of course). Overall, this is not a laptop geared for people wanting to work on intensive tasks while on the go. But for school work, and overall having a laptop, this is a very good laptop. I am very happy with this laptop.
