- Bought to match Ancona hood vent- October 10, 2018
After purchasing an Ancona hood vent we bought this to be sure the stainless steel matched the hood vent. It came with a few slight dents, which can be noticeable when the light on the hood vent shines on them, but overall its decent quality. Unfortunately the lights on our hood vent flicker frequently, and sometimes completely go out, and we can’t get them to turn back on for a while. It’s a mystery, because eventually the lights will work fine for awhile.

Changed microwave over range to fan - needed solution to deal with ceramic backsplash void - this was perfect. Cut channel in existing backsplash and installed Ancona Backslash - stainless steel is good quality and cleans up well. Only oddity is width of unit - they left more than 1/2 narrower than standard stove opening so you have 3/8 of an inch to deal with. Overall terrific solution at reasonable cost. Highly recommend.

We bought our first one for our main house about two years ago. We love it so when we build our guest cottage it seemed like a no brainer to get the same backsplash (30" instead of the 36" we have in the main house). It makes splatter clean up so easy!
