Apple AirPods In-Ear Truly Wireless Headphones (2019) - White

I’ve had my Airpods for about a year now and 5 months ago I managed to drop my left Airpod in my driveway. The day after, my town had a 70cm snow storm. I couldn’t walk outside. My AirPod was buried under all of that snow. Today, when I was walking down the driveway I found my AirPod in perfect condition. I plugged it in the case and after 20 minutes of charging it worked like new. This AirPod has gone through the washed and dryer at least 5 time and survived 10-15 snow storms. Amazing.

I purchased the Air Pods yesterday and was wearing them during a run. One of the Air Pods fell three times and I eventually lost it. I used the "Find my Air Pods" feature and neither of the Air Pods beeped, including the one I have left. I ordered a replacement from Apple today and later found that the case and the Air Pod I have left cannot connect to my IPhone no matter what I try. I called Best Buy customer service and was told the waiting time was three hours - with all its retail stores half closed, you would expect Best Buy to invest more staff in remote services, but apparently they didn't. It is a very frustrating purchasing experience.

AirPods are well-fitting with an average battery life. They are compact, easy to store, and have good sound-isolation and ambient noise awareness capabilities. Would be better if they carried the IP55 certified for water resistance. One of my AirPod earbuds rolled into a small puddle of water on my table leftover from my child. The microphone stopped working immediately. However, Apple sent new replacement earbuds within 24 hours with a reasonably priced incident fee of $35 for the AppleCare+ claim. Good entry level and price is great compared with Samsung Earbuds or other entries into the wireless earbud marketspace. Well worth the purchase.
