Expensive but worth it!

I was waiting for the new pro's to come out and once they did I decided it wasn't worth getting one when I could get the older model with more storage.I love this MacBook. I couldn't ask for more.

Hmmmm....

Other then the screen being retina, I'm kind of scratching my head on where the value is on this to put it up in the bracket it's in.

Love this Mac, pricy storage.

This is my third Macbook Pro. My mid-2009 13" Macbook Pro was starting to show it's age, so I broke down and went all out and purchased this one. The Pros for this Mac are very long. Everything works as expected and is lightning fast. I have not run into any delays running multiple programs thus far, the processor has no trouble keeping up. I love the fact that I can plug in overnight and when ever I use my Mac I no longer need to worry about battery life. While I can understand the Retina display is a huge step up from my old MBP, I have to say that my "mid-life" eyes are wasted on this screen. I loved my trackpad on the old MBP but this new trackpad with Force Touch is a nice improvement. Even though the Force Touch technology is old, Apple found an excellent well thought out use for it. You swear you are clicking the trackpad. I still find myself just randomly clicking in an effort to 'feel' the difference between a click and a vibration (I just can't tell). When I first hearD that Airplay was introduced, I was so excited until I found out my old Mac was not compatible. Now I can simply project anything on my screen to my TV through my AppleTV. No more converting files to be compatible with iTunes. This really is a huge timesaver for me. My new Macbook is a full pound lighter than my old one. I found my old mac just a bit too heavy (4.5 lbs.) to carry with one hand but the new one feels quite comfy (3.5 lbs.). My biggest beef about this MBPr is the cost of the flash storage. I could not find a third party offering that was compatible with this Mac (as of Sept 2015) so I broke down and paid all the money for the space. While I gave the Value 3 stars, I could not let this effect the overall rating as this was my choice and I really could have lived with 128GB until someone made a compatible drive. I have to say that for any Windows users out there (Yes, I do use both) the Mac is far more reliable and dependable. It really just works. Everyone that I have convinced to go Mac has never gone back so, they must be doing something right.

Amazing!!

This is the best computer ever. I will never go back to pc. The speed and abilities of this computer don't even come close to pc. My old beloved mac is now retired :( It lasted for 8 years. I installed Parallels and Windows 7 and I can play all my old games on my mac. This is one purchase that I will never regret and is a great investment for anyone.
