Did not like the keyboard

I have had 2 Mac Books so far, bought this one, but had to return it because of the keyboard. It is noisy when you type, it is annoying, so I returned it.

price toooo HIGH. not gonna buy this now

was gonna buy this but due to price high and nothing much in it. SSD only 128GB at this premuim price. u can buy gaming laptop i7 at this price. SSD are soo cheap now. Apple probably gets it alot lower price wholesale than consumers. this should have min 512gb SSD. paying just for Apple not for a product. Windows 10 is not bad if u turn off the updates and some protection that block everything.

MacBook Pro Issues

I bought a MacBook Pro in 2017 and had various issues throughout the year related to the keyboard, display and battery. I wasted so much time at the Apple genius bar speaking to employees as well as the time my laptop was in for repair where I did not have a laptop. Apple gave me a replacement laptop in 2018 and now again my laptop needs the keyboard and display replaced. I called and asked for a refund as continually repairing and replacing the product clearly does not work. The customer service department told me there was nothing they can do because they have no control over the employees at the store who would have to refund me. I have never had so many issues with a single product and customer service who is so unwilling to admit that their product has clear issues. I would not recommend this product unless you want to waste hours at Apple and have no laptop for weeks throughout the year.

Extremely poor performance

For the price of this macbook, you could purchase a desktop that is almost 8 times faster. You could even purchase a PC laptop that is 4 times faster AND includes a dedicated GPU. Massively overpriced

Do not buy from best buy

I placed an online order with best buy to buy this computer. They charged me, and created a shipping ticket with Canada post but never actually gave Canada Post the package. Customer services was extremely unhelpful, telling me it will take a future 10 business days for them to investigate. They provided me with no other contacts or a chance to speak with senior management. Even if this gets resolved, I may not get my product till at least a month after I ordered it. Furthermore, I bought this on sale and the price has gone up since then. It is better to go and pick it up in-store or try to buy from a different vendor.

nice but.....

This would be an awesome machine if Specs where much higher for its asking price. battery life it horrible even on the lowest settings just surfing the web. screen should be 4k since apple pushes it iPhones capabilities to the max. Overall this is a nice MacBook but I will be returning it and I will wait until Apple builds a better more reliable MBP at a better price. also, Best Buy warranty is very good but over priced as well.

Waste of money

Bought it few days ago for uni purposes nothing major normal web surfing and some multitasking. Only thing I like about this Macbook is the design nothing else 4 to 5 hours of battery time on regular use. The MacBook started to over heat, started to lag and freeze many times returned it ASAP. Not worth it at all, IDK why people are giving it 4 or 5 stars?

Good price - Fast computer

I have been waiting to purchase MacBook Pro for sometime now. I didn't want one of their three year old fifth generation chipsets. I was waiting for Apple to come out with the new seventh generation Caby Lake processor. Best Buy usually puts them on sale Labor Day weekend. Finally bought one, and after using it for a few days I can tell you this is a very fast computer. after installing all my apps I'm still left with 80 GB free on 128 GB hard drive. this small Drive it's more than enough to install all the apps you need. I use cloud and network storage so who needs a big SSD drive that costs way more money ? Battery life is quite good because of the efficient seventh generation chipset. I love the way I could migrate all my settings from my iMac. The retina display is worth the extra money so I suggest you buy this MacBook Pro

Price TOOO HIGH

For this price..you could buy a regular PC computer with 1) terrabytes of memory min 8TB of memory 2) Better speed even 3) more versatile with school program, business programs, and higher education programs...all software started for PC...so technology for mac is software...if low ie "soft" 4) not good for gaming 5) COST TOO MUCH 6) Macs are more a FAD than top functional or utilitarian. Pros 1) retina display is nice & operating system is stylistic and catchy but nothing that can be conquered with someone adept at customizing their own computer the way the like it. 2) speed it not bad, but not the best either

Amazing upgrade

Upgraded from a 2010 MacBook Pro and couldn't complain about anything.

No USB Ports

This Mac Book Pro has no USB ports and makes it very difficult to connect to peripheral devices.
