MacBook Issues

I bought a MacBook Pro in 2017 and had various issues throughout the year related to the keyboard, display and battery. I wasted so much time at the Apple genius bar speaking to employees as well as the time my laptop was in for repair where I did not have a laptop. Apple gave me a replacement laptop in 2018 and now again my laptop needs the keyboard and display replaced. I called and asked for a refund as continually repairing and replacing the product clearly does not work. The customer service department told me there was nothing they can do because they have no control over the employees at the store who would have to refund me. I have never had so many issues with a single product and customer service who is so unwilling to admit that their product has clear issues. I would not recommend this product unless you want to waste hours at Apple and have no laptop for weeks throughout the year.

Beautiful laptop with sharp graphics, runs very well with no issues. Set up was easy and battery life is great! A needed upgrade from previous 2012 Macbook Pro.

Great service, great product

After a lot of research, this MacBook Pro has met all my expectations ! The Apple Expert at the store in Oakville was a great unbiased advisor. So, I bought it on deal on Black Friday .The shipment was scheduled for this Thursday. I was concerned about what all the media were saying about Canada Post. Well..it beats my expectations and Canada Post delivered on Tuesday AM with a smile ! Wow ! ( I think this whole Postal issue was just fake news except for letters.) It took 10 minutes to set my MacBook, download Office 365 and to link everything together with all our devices. This is a great addition to our Apple eco system, with great connectivity, a fabulous platform...I have to say that the Best Buy in Oakville has a great consumer experience and great people..the one in Burlington is also very good !

Easy To Navigate

First MacBook Pro and I love it. Easy to use, works perfectly with my iPhone. Battery life is basically what they say. Really enjoying the split screen feature for work. Only downside no USB just USB-C but not a big deal.

Love it!

I've been in the market to buy a new laptop for about a year now and I finally decided to make the move from PC to Mac and I was not disappointed. This one, in particular, does not have the new slider on the keyboard which I preferred as to lessen the clutter. It's compact, has a clean and simple design and also runs great. No complaints!

Do you want to use USB or WiFi? You have to make a choice.

Plugging devices into the USB ports knocks out WiFi and bluetooth. I am faced with a choice to use a second screen and bluetooth mouse, or WiFi. Best part is Apple's own adapter doesn't really work properly either and the screen continues to flicker. A little disappointing that Apple would release a device with such a horrible drawback.
