  • Great pen but..
Verified BuyerReviewed by Fdpr - June 12, 2020

Great pen experience but the functionality of the iPad pro vs the surface pro is just a joke for a similar price. Simple stuff like plugging to an ultrawide monitor doesn't quite work (you can't extend display with the iPad or get rid of the scaling issues - black bars on each side, you cant even open a word document without losing features). If all you want to do with your $ 900 device is draw and watch Netflix the iPad pro is the way to go - then screen is mind-blowing and the pen is great. If you want to actually get some work done I'd go Surface pro. I wanted to like the iPad but it's a tough one to justify, in my mind just a shiny object.

  • Pencil for Ipad pro.
Verified BuyerReviewed by Seng - January 22, 2021

It's a nice pencil. Might have to get a grip or skin for it though. I find myself dropping the pencil a few times because it is slippery. Seems sturdy. I dropped it maybe about 5 times on the carpet floor and seems to be intact and functional. I like the magnetic charge feature. The tip could be a bit softer. Makes a lot of tappy noise when writing. I tried some tip covers but I didn't like them because it affects the drawing and writing experience. Not so happy about the price for a pencil tool. Besides these things, this pencil works great with drawing and writing apps. A must-have if you are using your ipad for these purposes.

  • Great upgrade
    Verified BuyerReviewed by Snoopy4836 - July 5, 2020

Using Apple Pencil second generation with iPad Pro 11 inch. This pencil is a huge improvement over the first generation. I like to get it charges in the case with the iPad, or just by sitting next to it. I appreciate being able to double tap in order to switch from writing to erasing (can be set to last tool used or color palette), but this can still be improved by Apple. I’ve also used the Surface Pro with pen and love how it works like a real pencil when you flip from the writing tip to the other end of the pencil to erase (think of a regular wooden pencil from elementary school or just a regular pencil—one end writes, other end erases).
