Bery noice

I don't know how long I had this PC for now, but it works smoothly. I can run CS:GO at around 200 fps in-game. I only would recommend this system to people that are just starting to game as some of these components can use a huge upgrade to today's standards. But overall, bery nice.

Collection question

Does this pc come with an ASUS gaming monitor?

A Great Budget Option.

Initially, I bought this PC as a quick and cheap replacement for my very old computer that recently died. To start off, I would like to talk about the peripherals. There's not much I can say, except that the mouse and keyboard were pretty standard. The keyboard inputted my keystrokes, and the mouse inputted my mouse movements. There was nothing remarkable, or unremarkable about it, it was simply quite standard. Next, let's move onto performance. I can't lie, I've got quite caught up into the Fortnite trend, and this computer is a beast in that regard. I ran Fortnite at high settings at over 100 FPs, so no complaints there. That is, until I started playing Rise of The Tomb Raider. As soon as I started playing games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, I started experiencing stuttering and big fps dips. At first I was quite confused, as I am not very tech savvy. Luckily, I knew a friend who was, so I called up Bill, my good friend. As the owner of a small software company, Bill knew quite a bit about computers, so he knew exactly what my problem was. "It happens all the time," he said, "Your System32 is overloaded." Even then, I was confused, so he further explained to me, "See, your GTX 1050's Video RAM is all being used up by System32! This causes stuttering and large fps dips, in VRAM intense scenarios. Luckily for you, I have a quick solution. As the CEO of Microsoft, here's a bit of advice; go to your (C:) drive. Next, go to your windows folder, and look for a folder called System32. The final step is to make sure you've completely deleted System32, and you should no longer be experiencing anymore issues related to stuttering, or fps dips." Right after he said all this, my cellphone died. Next thing I knew, it blew up and brutally killed the 3 zombies about to murder me and my family. Too bad I didn't realise that there was a whole pack of zombies who snuck up behind me and were about to eat my brains. As I was preparing for my unfortunate death, some friendly aliens abducted me and sent me to their spaceship where they performed lobotomy on me, and turned me into a psychotic cyborg intent on destroying all of humanity. The aliens set me free, and as I was about to destroy all of humanity, when Bill told me, "Hey, I found a way to download some more RAM", so he got me to go to this website where I downloaded more RAM, which helped a lot for multitasking. Other than the VRAM issue I had, this is a great budget option for anyone and is an absolute beast in gaming. 8/10, would buy again.

*DO NOT BUY* I decided to buy a new gaming pc after my old dell optiplex was getting slow, so I decided to buy this gaming pc off of bestbuy. That was a huge mistake. the performance of the computer was pretty good, ( a good solid 50fps on fortnite) but then one day i started to get system crashes and the blue screen of death. this went on for the rest of the time i had this pc. I though the crashes were just from the games I was running, but one day, I wanted to move a file arround, but error messages were starting to pop up. I eventually determined the problems were coming from the hard drive and my hardrive is going to die. A few days later I could not hear my hard drive spin up and I knew the hard drive had died I tried contacting asus but their customer service is the worst. if you are considering buying this computer DO NOT BUY IT.

Bought mine a couple days ago. I am very impress with the performance and gaming for the price. It plays fortnite on high settings 120 fps with bad wireless wifi editing is okay it just freezes here and there. The only thing that bothers me is that I can't open the windows icon all the time. You have to shut it down in order for it to work. I recommend this pc if you are on a budget! It is just awesome.

THIS IS SOOO GUDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently noticed my intel i9 with a gitx titan v was getting slow, so I decided to buy a prebuilt this time because I am too busy to hire someone to build a pc for me. This pc is soooo gud because it runs 20 fps on roblox. My old pc ran roblox 200 fps which is not gud because lower fps is better. I got this pc on sale for 899 and I love my new pc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since I have a new pc, I will go and smash my old one. I LOVE YOU BESTBUY AND ASUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • from Richmond, BC

At first it didn't boot because my Shintel i5-7400 was running too hot, so I underclocked it to 1.0 Ghz and it only ran at 300 C°. Everything would've been fine, except for the fact that my NoVideo GTX 1050 could only run Minecraft at 12 fps. Thankfully, since I overclocked it (at a cool 120 C°), I can run Minecraft at a solid 24 fps which is perfect because that is all the human eye can see. THANK YOU SO MUCH ASUS, I LOVE MY PC!!!

  • from Comox, BC

Great Machine, Even Better Customer Service

I bought this machine because of the fantastic graphics card for use in film production and small scale animations, and so far I have not regretted it. It is impossible for me to max out this machine's resources and cause it to stutter. The Nvidia Graphics and Intel Core i5 are a great combination and complete any task with relative ease. I have run my movie editor (Sony Vegas) with a very complex film file with no trouble. Solid construction, and need I even mention how awesome it is that it lights up? Jokes aside very pleased with the product for the money spent. When I first brought the PC home and turned it on after plugging in all of the required devices (as usual) my monitor only displayed a "no signal" message and refused to connect to the PC. I tried various monitors and cables with the same result, until eventually I brought the PC to BestBuy and explained my problem to them. The costumer service rep. was vey helpful, and after taking a look at the tower explained to me that the first time you power it on you have to plug your monitor into the graphics card using the HDMI on the bottom of the back of the PC. Brought it home, tried it, and it worked. Overall vey pleased with the device, and extremely pleased with the excellent customer service provided by BestBuy, will definitely buy from them again.

I love playing games on this computer at super speed Fortnite - 150fps Rainbow six siege - 100fps Rocket league - 130fps Gta 5 - 90fps Csgo - 190 fps I also love being able to minimize games and surf the web. The keyboard and mouse that come with it are also really good. No complaints.

Awesome deal (while on sale)!

I just bought this machine, last one too, and it is really quick! I was skeptical about the i5 processor since I had an i7 in my old computer but with the help of the graphics card this machine flies through games! Plays GTA 5 at 60fps and The Sims 4 at 60fps! The hard drive is a bit small and slow but there is an M.2 slot to add an SSD.

Great deal but..

I have bought this product on boxing day for 899, and I love the computer the only problem I have had is the keyboard breaking after a few weeks so I would recommend this computer to people but would have to tell them to have an extra keyboard in case of this one breaking.

Good pre built!

Desktop does everything i need it to, games run smooth, multi tasking is a breeze, top notch for a pre built budget pc. only down fall is the mouse and keyboard well need an upgrade if gaming a lot.

Second one!

This is the second ASUS G11 I have bought in the last two years. The first one was for me to upgrade from my old Core 2 Duo, which then went to my son. Now its Christmas again and "Santa" was very generous and got him one as well (time to dynamite the Core 2 Duo lol). Mine is Gen 6 i7 whereas his is Gen 7 i5 otherwise fairly similar, but both are amazing computers and both were incredible buys! I'm going to keep looking for ASUS next time the upgrade train rolls through town!!

Took delivery of unit today, but my monitor kept giving me a "...device not sending HDMI signal..." message on my monitor's screen. Ditto with the VGA chord. I tried different cables, reversed the plugs, and nada. I plugged in other computers into the monitor at hand and it detected and displayed no problem. So, I returned the computer to Best Buy.

Well Core i5 is really enough for gaming and i like this, gtx 1050 is really good gpu for eSports games like League of Legends, CS GO, DOTA 2, and Overwatch. I get 150+fps in League of Legends. I would really recommend this 10/10

  • from Brantford, ON

This PC can run any game out there. The keyboard that it comes with lights up red. And you can swap out anything if it starts getting old. (It avoids the warranty though I think.) Cs:Go 280 fps max settings. For honor 70 fps on high settings. If you want to see how it runs games, go on YouTube and type (Any game) on GTX 1050 and i5 7400.

Its a start

I'm currently writing this review on this PC. It is a pretty decent PC if you are using it for daily uses such as email, YouTube, browsing the web etc.. but i bought it intending to game on it, such as PUBG (Player Unkown's Battlegrounds), GTAV, and other steam games. This PC is capable to run these games.. on low-very low settings that is, the GTX 1050 is not as good as you'd think with the minimal 2GB that comes along with it, the mouse and keyboard had to be upgraded too, so i can meet my gaming needs. Also with its minimal 1TB HDD you are limited with what you can download, that's an easy upgrade though as it does have extra slots for more. Otherwise these are my only complaints and the computer would be a good start for a family pc or minimal gaming. Have a good day!

Nothing to say negatively of this pc...great product..

Good for pre built

For a pre built Gaming PC this is pretty good for the price. I got it on sale and saved a good chunk of change. Custom built prices have risen dramatically recently so I opted for a pre built PC that I could upgrade the RAM and Graphics card later and this fits the Bill. Runs quiet and boots up quick.
