Happy with the computer

I got what I wanted in this laptop - lightweight, small screen, easy switch between laptop and tablet mode. I do find the keyboard a bit finicky in particularly that the shift button on the right is preceded by a "slash" button and I keep hitting it first when typing - however, truly this is only a matter of habit. The computer is fast to start up, quick to switch between the screens, and it still works fast even when at any given moment I have a minimum of half a dozen windows open. I typically use this computer for research, excel, some more heavy duty stats programmes, and word. It works well for those purposes. I also occasionally watch movies or use SKYPE - again, no complaints there. All in all, I'd say a good buy for an "average" user like myself.

It's fine

I bought this laptop but unfortunately had to return it two days later. The pros - great screen, very pretty design, insanely long battery life, great keyboard for typing. Super comfortable. Lightweight Cons - the quickkey shortcuts weren't working when it came out of the box so I had to download a whole bunch of drivers to make it work. I spent more than an hour with the salesman, and unfortunately, I didn't realize this computer IS NOT PEN COMPATIBLE!!! In the store, the computer is shown by a pen and I just assumed it was pen compatible. IT IS NOT PEN COMPATIBLE. This was a make or break for me as I don't really see the point at all of a touchscreen laptop that doesn't work with a pen. For someone for who it's not a big deal, this is an awesome laptop and I was super disapointed that I could not keep it.

Could be better

Not compatible with the pen function as advertised and told to me by best buy, so that is a big con. Love the look, colour and weight and versatility that the flip function provides. Processor is slower than I expected it to be. Touchscreen not always functional in tablet mode (for example, I could not choose a star rating on this page using the touch screen and had to flip to laptop and use the touchpad/mouse) Overall, I'm not super impressed and really unimpressed at the fact that I was misled on it's ability to use a pen.

Its OK

Compare with the UX305: PRO - better processor, whole system definitely much faster. Touchscreen. CON - heavier; soft keys, I like the UX305 keys better; power socket is REALLY TIGHT difficult to plug into AC adapter. SAME - shallow SD card slot (I bought a Transcend low profile SD card for Mac, which works well in the Asus)

love this....flip

because I love the functionality of my smart phone- love the touch screen/ flip function on this, still playing with it. Should come with a microfiber cleaning cloth though, lots of little fingerprints. The physical keyboard and pad are responsive. In terms of software it came very clean, not a lot of bloatware.

ASUS Zenbook Flip UX360UA

Very pleased with this Flip in first 3 weeks, relatively light to carry, easy to go from laptop to angled to tablet. The touchscreen is responsive (does show fingerprints) the keyboard is good to type on and the backlighting is great, the screen is pleasant to look at (I have the brightness turned well down and saves battery use) The battery is good for a number of days of casual use (not used for business). The wifi was a problem at first until BestBuy tech advised make sure to download all of the updates to Win 10, since then absolutely no problems. I have an ASUS desktop and have high respect for the company and products

Slick, Sleek, Solid....but the colour is more Brownish than 'Gray'

I love everything about this laptop. It feels rugged, looks great and performs amazingly. My only comment is that although this model says the colour is 'gray''s definitely more of a 'grey/brown'. I am very happy with the colour as it looks very good and stylish but this is just a head's up.

Good for the money

Nice build quality, good price/performance, and light weight. One of the better keyboards I've used on similar machines. Nice selection of ports, but wish it came with an HDMI-to-VGA adapter and Ethernet connector like my old UX31A. Another drawback is the lack of USB 3.1. Fan is a little aggressive. I set mine up to dual-boot with Ubuntu 16.04 and Windows 10; most of the laptop's functionality seems to be working well with Linux.

Great laptop for price but ...

Bought this at Best Buy over a week ago. For price - the value is amazing and the battery gets a consistent 10 hours, but a lot of the components are meh. Speakers are ok, screen could be better and there is some flex when you touch. Also - I bought the grey version which looks more rose/red than anything. Overall if you're on a budget - this is a great computer, but if you can splurge a few extra hundred bucks ... go for an x360 or xps13
