Good unit for the price.

PROS: Nice machine. Runs my 4K 32" monitor well. I've only tried a few older games but the graphics are nice. I mainly use it for programming so I don't need anything too crazy. Good all around unit for the price. Quiet unless running games and the fans kick in but still not bad. CONS: I don't like all the candy crush and bloatware that comes with it. Even after re-installing windows it's there. Easy to uninstall though. Happy with it.

The marketing is clever

Very clever marketing; advertise it using an Age of Empire picture, because it's all it's going to run good with those kind of specs. Too expensive, too little to give.

it's louder than my ten-year-old laptop

Like, seriously. I forgot to charge it so it shut off, which was fine. So I plugged the charger, started up the laptop again. It shut down TWICE before it could "fix" whatever the heck needed to get "fixed" with sudden shut downs. And gaming on it is so loud. It's actually louder than my ten-year-old laptop when I run the same games on it. Not to mention that the keyboard area is warm from running the laptop.

Overpriced

A TN panel and a mere 2 GB of VRAM simply does not cut it at this price point.

Only use for gaming

Bought this laptop on sale for 899.99 on labor day, My intentions on this laptop was to use for studying, in computer science from the day i have bought this laptop it had given me problems, if i was to watch tutorial videos on you-tube it would play choppy and a green screen had shown up, this also includes watching videos on facebook and other social media platforms. It gets very irritating not to mention the noise on the laptop, you will hear a ticking sound even when nothing is loading, not to mention the terrible battery life, it lasts for like 8 hours max on battery saver, without it it will last you 2 hours, not to mention the battery charger itself is a brick, you would want to avoid this if you are going to university or college for IT or Computer science its hot garbage. it looked good on paper, but after you use it for 2 weeks the problems start to occur, but if you want to game it pretty good, but for school work this laptop is not the one, I am going to return this laptop and exchange for another one.

capable

I didn't expect a lot from this budget gamer laptop but have been pleasantly surprised. Fairly fast and good video as well. Excellent for traveling with a lightweight yet very capable computer.

Gaming Laptop

Bought this when it was on sale. Not bad for the price, fans are a little loud at times during heavy gaming, i'd say medium to low settings at best but depends on what game you play. Only downside is the battery life, it lasts about only 2 hrs on a full charge, but overall not bad.
