Good CPU, Issues with Multi-Display

Great CPU but the issue with this computer is the failure by both BEST BUY and ASUS to tell customers that the onboard VGA port and HDMI ports are disabled in BIOS as it makes way for the NVIDIA GTX 1050 to control everything with regards to video. In order to have multi-display on this, you will need to plug HDMI from second monitor directly into the bottom HDMI port on the video card. If you have a DVI plug on your second monitor or a VGA plug, then you will need to purchase a HDMI male to VGA or DVI female adapter and plug this directly into the video card at the bottom of the unit and then connect to your second monitor. Many hours wasted figuring this out.

nice

great deal, good for gaming. the one thing I managed to catch was the power supply at 300w. seeing how this computer has a i7 7700 that can reach 4.2 ghz when using turbo, a nivida geforce gtx 1050 it should at least have a 500w power supply. I recommend you buy when on sale because its decent for the price.

Wow! Fantastic!

My latest purchase was nothing more than amazing! It's everything that I need in a computer. Fast, affordable, lightweight, quiet, etc.

disappointment

My whole experience with this computer have been awful. It does not run smoothly nor does it operate well. It continuously lags and bugs. It is nowhere good enough for the price it is sold at regular price or at cut. I regret buying this computer.

VGA port doesn't work

VGA port on the computer doesn't work. so I couldn't hook up my second monitor. Geek Squad tech that was trying to help me told me I needed to buy another adapter, but the port itself just simply isn't working. \will be returning computer and exchanging for another. Hopefully it works next time.

Close but not at this price

Pretty decent build but at this price point there should be at least a 1060 3gb video card. The 1050? seriously. You could build this for less with better graphics. Just saying. If you want one already built then check out bestbuy's other gaming pcs. You might pay a bit more but at least those come to within 100-150 of what it would cost to build your own. That's not bad.

Has major problems

Bought this pc. When hooked up to the monitor, only the DVI port would work. VGA and HDMI didn't work so there was no display. Exchanged for a new one and same problem again. Tested with 3 different monitors and a different set of cables. Unfortunate since the specs seemed good

Off to a very bad start

I got my new Pc, on line and went to fire it up, but it would not load. So back to Best Buy and they replaced it no problem. Got the new PC home and again it would not start up or run windows, fooled around with the HDMI cable and after awhile it started, what a great PC so fast and along with supper pictures on my monitor. A few days later it failed to start again so back to Best Buy we went and they replaced it with a new unit, even teste run it in the store and it worked great. Well we got it home and connected all of those USB cables and again it would not start. so I left the PC running and removed all of those USB cables and who and behold it started. This told me that I had a problem in my USB cables. Replacing them one at a time I discovered that my external hard drive was the problem. This I left out and now my new PC is just flying and very fast =to start up. Never thought that a USB cable could do this, but then again PC'S are full of surprises, sure am glad that I never gave up on the ASUS , M32CD , PC. .Now that I have it figured out I just love it even with a bumpy start

Great Price, Surprising Results!!!

Pleasantly surprised over the quality and power of this CPU.

Plain numbers

Yes the numbers VS price is impressive, but not the real specs that really matters! - The Motherboard is extremely basic and offer almost zero upgrades! - Yes you have 12GB or RAM..of the cheapest RAM possible (ex:no heat sink) - Video card is not bad....but integrated, so it suck up both CPU and RAM. To built on with those specs using the very best parts will cost a bit more (or equal without the rebate) but will completely outperform and outlive it.

Money worth for a Upper end PC

This is a relative powerful PC with fast CPU, plenty RAM and top quality graphic card. Runs very smoothly, fast and quietly. It excels in every aspects for my daily business use. The only drawback is that it doesn't have SSD drive, which for sure will improve its performance greatly in terms of startup, waking up and running programs.

Can I give Asus ZERO stars?

If you are considering an Asus computer, please hear my experience with Asus. I bought a "high" end Asus in January. When it arrived, it was DOA! (Through the vents I could see a RAM card sitting loose on the bottom of the case.) I returned it and got another. It arrived - DOA!!! This time, both RAM cards could be seen loose at the bottom of the case. Returned this one too. Hoping for 3rd-time-lucky, I got another. This one did boot, but performance was horrible. After a month putting up with it (and loading programs, data, and doing configs), I investigated deeper - and found that it did not have a functioning SSD as I had paid for. The elapsed month prevented me from returning it to vendor - I had to deal with Asus. Aaagghhh!! Over the next week I spent over 10 hours with at least 6 Asus support people. Generally, they were disinterested and ineffective. Twice I spoke to supervisors, who were equally disinterested in helping. After 3 defective Asus PCs, and almost 5 months dealing with Asus, I was asked to return the PC across the country. They said they would repair it. Another 4-6 weeks. I bought this in January 2017. I've had 3 defective PCs. I'm sending it back again. The best I can hope for is to have a working PC by July 2017. And I'm not confident that Asus will deliver then.

Good Price, Good Value

Hey, So I am just a random teenager on the internet... I am really bored so I thought I would check out how much this computer would be to build, and I was surprised to find out that the price to build this computer and the price to buy it straight up was so close I may actually just buy this guy! If you are not planning to build a pc on your own, this computer is your best bet! I would opt for a more powerful graphic card but other than that, If you are into light gaming, this is the pc for you
