What's an "unlocked phone?"

Purchasing an unlocked handset gives you more handset options to choose from and more flexibility as to where you use it. Because an unlocked handset isn't tied to a particular service provider, it can be used with any service provider in the world that operates on a SIM card-based GSM network. Simply place an activated SIM card in the handset and you'll enjoy the same or similar service. Some premium features may not be available. SIM card sold separately. Speak with your current service provider for more details.

  • Very good budget phone

from North Bay on 4 septembre 2019

This is a great phone for the price. A few things though, put the camera on manual, better pics. It was a bit slow until I disabled the unused/unwanted apps. A bit slower than newer Samsung or Apple but at 1/4 the cost not an issue to me. People who spend hours on their phone might want to spend more for a faster phone but for occasional users like me its a great bargain.

like the bigger screen. still getting used to it and all the features.

Seriously, don't get it. I'd rather spend a thousand dollars on an iPhone than this, and here's why: 1. The camera sucks, when I'm trying to take a picture, I usually have to retake it several times, because even if you don't breath while you take it, it will still turn out blurry. 2. It scratches sooo easily! It's almost like every time I wake up there is a new scratch! 3. It's slow. Most of the time it doesn't respond to the button when I press it. Usually, I have to try 2 or 3 times to get it to respond. When I finally unlock it, it takes a another 5 seconds to load all the apps. 4. If you crack the screen, you might as well get a new phone. At first, when I cracked it, I thought I could continue to use it normally like Apple products, but that wasn't the case. For the first few days it worked okay (as okay as it will ever be), but a week later, I opened it up to green, blue, red, white and black lines running all across my screen. The touch screen didn't work in one area as well, and it kept on flashing. For those of you thinking, "but how do you know that was because of the screen", here's why: if I press on the areas where the glass was broken, the lines on the screen will move to different places, and the color would be saturated.
