  • This time is a Charm
Reviewed by Satisfied User - April 6, 2021

We have a large two-story craftsman-style home built in 1918. We love the details and charm of this old house but adapting to today's Wi-Fi technologies has been a challenge. We coped with a number of top-of-the-line routers and range extenders with poor- and no performance in many parts of the house for many years. This time is a charm . . . this high-end mesh system is providing us with steady, reliable and fast speeds to 9 devices throughout our home, even delivering great performance outside and in my garage workshop. And, it doesn't look like 'a model spacecraft' from the 21st century. We're ecstatic.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

  • Good mesh router
    Reviewed by Mark - September 19, 2020

Easy installation, intuitive user interface, great coverage and throughput. My 2 mesh unit are very distant from each other, but still retain fast and consistent connection. Before this unit, I had constant issues with video calls. Now communication is fast and consistent. The only issue that I have found is that sometimes devices are not automatically move from one router to another when I come far from the originally connected router.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

  • Not sure it worth the money

Really easy to install. In 2400 sq ft 2 store house, Bell modem, (with Wi-Fi) in basement. Put router by Bell modem, node upstairs (good signal). Main floor living room Fire TV Stick has poor Wi-Fi from the XT8 ( very disappointed). Looks like I need a node per floor. No sure it was worth the money as I have few Wi-Fi 6 devices (yet). I

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
