  • Very disappointed

I purchased this beautiful looking table because Ive heard many of the bugs from previous generations have been remedied... First off, the cartridge was nowhere near aligned so I performed a proper alignment. Second, the anti skate did not work. This was an issue with older models. When i attempted to use the internal pre amp... It did not work and there was a loud hum and static. I tried line out to an external pre amp and there was no change. This is my second AT turntable. There will never be a third. Save your money and go for the project debut carbon or the technics 1200. Good things aren't cheap, cheap things aren't good

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

  • Bronze on black looks even better in person

I bought the Audio Technica AT-LP120XBT-USB a while ago to be used over bluetooth with my mini system in the dinner room. When I saw this limited edition on sale I just couldn't resist and got it for my entertainment system in the basement. The bronze accented trims simply look amazing on the black turntable. Their specs are identical except that this model lacks the bluetooth connectivity. I think for an entry level direct-drive turntable they are well worth the price. It is well designed following cues from the beloved Technics SL1200 turntable, combined with good build quality and features making this turntable a no-brainer.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

  • Very pleased with this turntable.

This turntable was a good purchase for me. Quality and ease of use and set up is great. I matched it with Edifier R1280T powered speakers. I have no problem getting all the bass and treble I need. Yes, it is grounded and I am using BestBuy’s heavy speaker wire. Absolutely no hum or distortion. Long slow piano notes have no background buzz or distortion so turntable doing it’s thing very well. Since everything is manual I even get some exercise getting up and going over to change records or sides.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
