Best Headphones in its price range

Hands down, without a doubt these are the best headphones I have ever tried. Crisp sound, good bass, works with the latest and greatest audio codecs (aptX being the best it can do). If you think these aren't good headphones and that its not clear, it might be the device that you're playing the music through. Tested these on my old iPhone 6, Galaxy S8 and my laptop(B&O audio). All devices have good quality Bluetooth receivers and DACs so the sound was amazing. Great for music production(although I would suggest getting the wired version if studio production is top priority, they're great regardless, but if you want top of the line, wired is the way to go). Build quality is great, doesnt feel like it would break apart at all. I workout with these, it gets a little heated, but Audio Technicas are a beast in terms of durability. I have friends who have owned the wired version of the same headset for 3 years with heavy sweaty use and all they had to do was buy new ear pads after they got beat up. Won't regret these

m50x has always been one of my favorites, finally they have a blue tooth option! These are actually just a little flatter than the original m50x, which makes me like them even more.

Build quality is poor and the sound is warm and surrounding but is very unclear and undefined. Mostly disappointed about the sound quality. Will be returning.

Lives up to the M50x hype

When I saw that Audio Technica finally launched a BT version of these headphones I was excited to finally be able to enjoy some damn fine audio fidelity via. Bluetooth. They definitely live up to the great sound and hype the M50 series has made for itself. These aren't any longer really considered "Studio Monitors" as a wireless connection will never be as good as wired, but at least the option to go wired with these is also there if you feel like. As for audio quality these are not quite as flat as the last pair of M50x that I've tried, I think AT has given these a very slight bass boost which I find to be welcome, as well as a slightly more pronounced high end. Personally I appreciate the changes as I use these mainly for BT audio streaming from my Note9 90% of the time so you will not get that perfect flat response that the M50's were loved for in the first place, and since my genres of choice tend to come alive with a slight emphasis on bass and a bright high end. They work well for me and make listening to music from any streaming services on your phone fun and entertaining. Overall these offer the added punch most people will enjoy but they still retain the clarity that the originals were known for. These also use Bluetooth 5.0 Technology so if you have a phone with a 5.0 chip as well these things will have excellent range. I am able to leave my phone in my basement, walk upstairs and still have crystal clear sound. Much better range than the old Bluetooth 4.x specs. I use these regularly at the gym, these are not IP rated or sweat resistant at all but they seem to hold up well, I just make sure to be cautious. If i plan on doing any intense cardio I will switch over to my Jaybirds. The controls are on the left ear cup as well as a MicroUSB charging input and the 3.5mm input. they take some time to get used to but once you get a feel for where the buttons are it becomes second nature to use. The touchpad works well if you use assistant apps. I personally don't, so I wish there was an option on the app to change the functionality of the touchpad, or even have it disabled to avoid accidental activation. I would also like to see USB-C added to these eventually to improve charge times, as well as maybe an IP certification. I have used these for over 3 weeks regularly now, I keep them around 80-100% volume level and they are currently sitting at 55%. The 40h rating is no joke! Sound isolation is good with the earpads that come on these, although I do think it can be improved with a set of 3rd party ear cushions. Build quality is identical to the M50x. Overall still an excellent design, fairly comfortable, I do wish they were a bit lighter, but hopefully it's a small sacrifice for the solid build quality these have. Overall these are exactly what I expected and then some. If you want some of the best sounding wireless headphones that will last without paying a premium for the brand look no further.

Really awesome so far! Faithful to the originals.

These sound very similar to the original ATH-M50X. Still prefer their sound wired but the added convenience of bluetooth is super welcome. Currently using them for monitoring guitar tracks, watching movies, playing video games late at night. I noticed that the bluetooth can crackle (barely noticeable) in the highs but this goes away entirely when plugged in. All in all a well, a rounded set of cans.

I picked up a pair of these earlier this week and I LOVE them. Battery life is amazing (40 hours) which is part due to them being noise isolating vs noise cancelling. But don't let that worry you - they block out everything you don't want to hear. They've tweaked things a little from the original M50x, but these are truly worthy of the name. My one complaint is the control buttons on the side with are a little difficult to use because of their small size. But overall, I'm super happy with them. TL;DR: get these ones.
