  • Do not buy: problems after only 1 month of light use

Bought this turntable for Christmas. At the beginning it was working OK but just after 1 months of light use the Stop button stopped working: the unit stops then restarts again on its own. Also, the platter is not completely flat. This is not really noticeable when playing 33's but when I play a 45 the sound has a "wavy" distortion to it. Other than this the sound quality on 33's is good but compared to old-time good quality record players this one feels really flimsily built, especially the controls. Your money will be better spent on a higher quality turntable.

  • Great little turntable

Very nice starter turntable. It doesn't have a lot of features. For instance you can't download your records to your computer. With that being said it does what it's designed to very well. It connected with my innovative technology Bluetooth tower speaker pretty much instantly.

  • Bluetooth did not pair with any devices
    by

The unit sounded great when connected to speakers directly, but absolutely refused to pair with any of my home bluetooth devices. I tried it with three devices; two bluetooth 4.0 units and one bluetooth 3.0 speaker. None of those devices were on the super-short "officially supported" list. No troubleshooting tips seemed to help; turning off all other BT devices, putting the two devices right next to each other, deleting the "pairing memory" of the speakers and retrying - nothing worked. Furthermore, AT customer support advised me to return the unit to Best Buy rather than offer any sort of serious troubleshooting beyond their supported devices list. I am reasonably sure I had a defective unit, but AT didn't really care to speculate why the bluetooth connection wasn't working. I returned and got a regular LP-60, then added an inexpensive aftermarket bluetooth transmitter. Works great, and was actually much cheaper.
