Love it!

I have found this lock super convenient, and very easy to install. I wouldn't say I am particularly handy, but I installed this lock in about 20 minutes. I had no issues connecting the bridge and have had no issues with connectivity. I was able to let a delivery company in remotely, which saved me from missing my package and having to reschedule another delivery date - with no issues. the lock is bigger, but I wouldn't say it's an eye sore. I would definitely recommend this product!

Good Home Automation Solution

Installation was pretty easy for the most part, a couple of minor adjustments were required when mounting the device to ensure the adaptor was aligned correctly. Took about 30 minutes total including setting up the hub and the door open/close detection. Otherwise, this device is excellent, using for the entire household now. Will likely add a keypad in as a backup. It's great to know who's unlocked the door and when. The auto-lock feature is great and the Bluetooth auto-unlock works very well.

Not a happy camper.

Tried the previous version and could never get it to work properly so I thought i'd try the Pro. Both kept dropping connections and I'd have to stand at the door for about a minute each time before I could get a connection to my smart phone. I was faster to use a key. The only positive feature I found was the auto lock which worked like a charm.

Very easy to install. Works very well so far

The lock took 20min to install. The instructions in the app are very detailed and you have all you need in the box except a philips screwdriver. This is very very well executed. The pairing and calibration went very well. Then the pairing with apple homekit was also very easy. So far, so good.

Still not a mature product

Full of bugs. One would hope that after at least 2 years on the market the product would be more reliable. On top of another reviewer "bridge not available" issues there is more. On several occasions the lock unlocked the door without anyone approaching the door. App would show that the phone of the person that is at home performed auto-unlock... On other occasions auto unlock was not working. The time that connection over bluetooth is established if one wants to perform manual operations is ridiculous... Returned

Works great

Install was straightforward with both the lock and Connect. After about a week of use, the lock is working very well. It can be set up to auto-lock after 2 minutes, and automatically unlocks when I get back home. The app is also easy to use and can provide notifications to help confirm that the lock is working as expected. I will eventually buy a second lock based on my experience so far.

Not reliable

Few hours after install, got a message says "bridge unavailable". Check the hub's LED, it's solid red. according to August's website "A solid red light indicates that August Connect needs to be setup." I reset the hub, set it up again, it works again. After few hours, the red led comes up again. I have to reset it few times a day to get it work. Going to return it.
