Overview
The Axis Communications 5008-001 is a PoE splitter specifically designed for use with an AXIS 206 or AXIS 207 network camera. A PoE splitter does the exact opposite of a PoE injector. Instead of combining power and data, it splits the power and data coming over the network into two separate transmissions. By using a PoE injector at the source end and a PoE splitter at the receiving end, a single Ethernet cable can be used to supply both power and data to network cameras that are not PoE compatible.Power over Ethernet for Non PoE CamerasFail Safe OperationSpecifically designed for use with an AXIS 206 or AXIS 207 network camera
