- Excellent Headphones!- January 11, 2014
These headphones sound incredible. I have tried several different pair including different ones from the Beats line and bose. These are by far the best of the bunch. 50mm drivers with sound that comes to your ears from many different directions. The instrument separation on these cans is second to none. The bass, mid and highs all sound superb with these and the new infinite black color is just the icing on the cake. I have two pair one at my house and one at my office and my father listened to them and we got him a pair. These are not a marketing ploy only headphone. I don't care a lot about style, only sound. With these you get both.
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. - My 2nd pair of Beats.- June 12, 2015
I loved getting the Beats Pro by Dre; however after having them for just one day I noticed they clamped extremely bad. I wound up returning the headphones. Sound quality was okay, I really recommend you look at Sennheiser HD8 they are very similar to these however, they are much clearer (IMO) and include loads of accessories. Love my new HD8s and I'm glad I left Beats. Also, my Beats Studio 2 (purchased January 2015) after 6 months, have begun to fall apart... (hinge is breaking, cap has worm off aux cable, and even the glue that keeps shell of the headphones together is beginning to break down). STOP BUYING HEADPHONES FOR THE LOOKS!!! IT PAYS OFF!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend. - Broke after 10 months- February 23, 2015
I bought these beats and at first they had had great sound although a tad pricey. After about 30 minutes or so your ears start to get really sore and uncomfortable. I had studio's before that broke after a year and I thought these would be better because they are stainless steel, but it turns out they break just as easy, the coiled cable doesn't work very well and it crackles when using it. The pivoting ear cups eventually pivot all the way around and the paint scratches very easily. And mine just broke and the headphones don't work at the same time, which ever cup has the cable plugged in works but not both.
