Overall, I think this unit is OK. One of the biggest drawbacks is, if you have any kind of power glitch and the unit fails, that is the end of it. There is no replaceable fuse and no button to reset the device. There is no build in circuit breaker so, while your items will be protected, you no longer have any use for this item. I have gone through 2 in the last 3 years and, the only good thing I can say, is Belkin does easily send you a replacement.
