  • Looks great, but doesn't compare to other induction stoves

We had the Electrolux induction for 7 years, and although it didn't last very long, it was a pure pleasure to use. If you value your time, you will not like the Bosch at all. Here are some pros and cons: Pros - Looks great! - Excellent Oven - The large element in the middle so the smoke is removed better with the fan Cons - Much slower to boil water than the Electrolux - If one element is on Power Boost, the other element on the same side can't even be ON! It can't even be at 2 or 3! it has to be off completely! - For all of the elements, only parts of the element actually transfer the magnetic field to create heat. I have the Benchmark version which has a flex induction zone, and half the time only one side heats up - doesn't matter which pot I use. - Touch screen on oven ultra sensitive, touch screen on elements not sensitive at all. - The logic process of turning elements on and off are really flawed. We scrapped a few pots and pans because the wrong elements were left on and they burned. in 7 years, NONE of these were issues with the Electrolux!! It's been 6 months, and I still can't stand the stove top. I'm giving it 3 stars because it looks awesome, the oven is really good and I'm assuming that the quality is better than the Electrolux and that it will last longer than 7 years. If it lasts less than 7 years, it's a 2 star product.
