Bosch 800 Series 24" 42dB Built-In Dishwasher with Stainless Steel Tub (SHPM78Z55N) - Stainless Steel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this dishwasher when the old one that came with the house 17 years ago died. My son introduced us to the Bosch brand when he bought a house with all Bosch appliances. We went for the 800 series because it has all the features we want: quiet, high performance, crystal dry, top controls, and sleek appearance. We have been very impressed with how clean and spotless our dishes and cooking gear come out. Bosch has a reputation for superior quality and craftsmanship that we look for in our appliances and tools. We are willing to pay a little more for something that will last and do its job well.

Never again. Bosch Series 800 Dishwasher arrived today (SHPM78Z55N). It was wrapped in plastic with no obvious signs of damage. On unwrapping it and opening the door, we noticed that it was wet inside the stainless steel interior. Odd. *BUT* the third rack does not work and there are dents in the stainless steel door where the thrid rack hits the door! This was the first time we opend the dishwasher. The third rack will not extend and cannot be removed. Piece of junk!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had builders grade GE dishwasher which was only 5 years old but it wasn't cleaning my dishes properly. In hence, I looked for an alternative. I was given a great feedback from a family member for Bosch 800. I also varified consumer reports and read reviews online prior of buying it. And I couldn't be happier with its performances. I've tried multiple cycles (full cycle to quick cycle) and they all have 100% clean results. I've tried dirty to partially rinse dishes(left an entire day in a dishwasher till it was filled) and to my surprise, all super clean. From glassware to stainless, everything sparkling clean. I use the dishwasher every single day and couldn't tell you how much my hands are happier. I've recommended it two friends and a sister in law and all have been equally happy:))! A must replace dishwasher. Thank you Borch for making my daily life easy-a super happy twins mommy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to wait for four months to receive my dishwasher, but it was worth the wait. This is my third Bosch and this one is very quiet, and has the Crystal Dry feature built in. This models footprint is deeper than my previous models, and it didn't fit securely. I had to hire an experienced handyman to pull out the dishwasher, and modify the toe kick on opposite side of kitchen cabinet to be fully secured. Now I can open my silverware drawer without banging into the side of control panel. The modification was pricey, but now it's complete. Many years to enjoy my new dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is the bomb!! I have never owned any dishwasher that gets every single item so clean in my life. I have put in stainless steel pans with stuck on egg residue, dried on cheese residue, just plain dried on food and pretty much the stuff you always had to scrub before you put them in the dishwasher. I have not pre-washed anything. Have tried pretty much anything I can to have a dish, pot, pan or glass be dirty at the end of cycle but everything comes out squeaky spotless clean. A few plastics have come out damp but not wet.....Worth every penny!
